I was recently in Darwin for NAIDOC Week, and the friends my partner and I were staying with recommended we visit Mason Gallery. There are some lovely Aboriginal Art galleries in Darwin, but our visit to Mason Gallery was certainly a highlight. We ended up spending about an hour there, as Jeffrey very generously and respectfully introduced us to some of the pieces on show at the gallery. We learned a lot about the origins of the 'dots' from the desert, and the stunning pieces from Arnhem Land.
