Bottlerocket Bar & Cafe — Restaurant in Nowra

Went there for our work Christmas get together.

We were ordering the “3 shot Teapot for $20”

THERES ABSOLUTELY NO WAY THOSE TEAPOTS HAD 3 SHOTS OF ALCOHOL IN EACH OF THEM.

I alone had 4 Teapots in 2 hours THERES NO WAY I HAD 12 SHOTS IN 2 HRS & walked out of there sober / straight. I should have been crawling out of there or wrapped around a toilet bowl.......

Nearly everyone in our group was also ordering teapots, & they were also sober leaving that place.

1 had to ask for hers to be remade as it tasted like straight coke & the staff member happily did!!!!

EXACTLY BECAUSE THERE WASNT THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF ALCOHOL IN EACH TEAPOT FOR WHAT WE WERE PAYING FOR!!!

EVERY STAFF MEMBER WALKED OUT OF THERE AFTER 2 HOURS STRAIGHT / SOBER!!!!

CONSIDERING I HAD PRE DRINKS AT HOME (4 cruisers in half hour - hr) then went to bottle rocket had x1 teapot (3 shots of alcohol) before going to dinner (staff also drank at dinner) then back to bottle rocket & had x4 more teapots in 2 hours!!!!

Absolutely disgusted the amount of money we spent there that night & the owner reckons they were made correctly!!!!

I guarantee you now, I’d be buying single drinks - don’t trust there teapots etc PAYING FOR NOTHING

Will never have a staff get together there again, probably won’t even waste my time going there for a “single shot drink”. Waste...

Went in at 9pm on a Saturday night for drinks. The DJ was so loud you couldn’t hear the person next to you. The guy behind the bar was really good about relocating a reservation so our larger group could use a big enough area. There were two people behind the bar taking orders and making drinks so it took a long time to be able to make our orders and some of the drinks never arrived. We had to ask about the drinks 3 times before they arrived and it took nearly an hour; the drinks weren’t good when they did arrive. Friendly staff and big cocktail menu but I won’t be going...

If you order a cocktail and don't specify you want single shots, they automatically do double shots. Comes as a surprise when you think you are paying for one thing and then have to pay another. Becomes pricey when ordering more than one at a time. To make matters worse, they weren't even that good. The overhead lights were left until after 7.30 pm, making it very bright.
