Canton Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Orange

This was possibly the worst Chinese I have ever had. I have no idea how this restaurant has received 5 star reviews, unless they have changed the chef. We paid $80 for 2 tasteless soups, a San Choy bow that had chuncks of carrot, baby corn and what tasted almost like gravy on it. The main meals were terrible, the satay chicken was a greeny brown colour and tasted very fishy. When we asked about the fishy flavour and the lack of peanut tones in the sauce we were told that satay was meant to be fishy. The salt and pepper chicken was battered chicken with table salt sprinkled on top, no szechuan pepper or chilli just table salt, the the special fried rice was average. The only edible thing served was the lemon chicken which wasn't too bad. Would NEVER eat here again. $80 for 1 edible dish...

Service- disgusting, food - we didn’t get a chance to try as left before ordering, which was sad because we were looking forward to it but after the attitude from a senior female lady we left as we felt she could do anything to our food. How this all come about was that we simply commented that the beer we had was off/been sitting in the sun, could we change the drinks. The young girl serving us was very polite and was happy to do so till an older lady stormed over to our table with a full unopened six pack saying they fresh from Dan Murphys. If you feel like chinese food, then this is a safe option

Nothing fancy, but it is healthy freshly cooked enjoyable dishes. We dined in but noticed there were literally boxes of take out being ordered, and lots of locals picking up orders in multiple bags (don't know if this store caters for parties? )
