I have been here before and I must say the food now is very different, Unfortunately the service that I received today was terrible, The waitress was great but the cashier was terrible, He spoke to me pretty rudely actually, I was really disappointed when I saw the price that I paid for 4 meals that were supposed to be waiting, On the menu it indicated that a big breakfast is $24, However I was charged $26.40, On top of that I didn't want a sausage so I asked for a poached egg instead, I wasn't refunded for the sausage however I was charged on top for more for an extra egg, which lead to me paying $2.20 extra for an egg. I was also charged extra for Aioli on my chips even though I never received and sauce with my Chips. I then went and discussed the price for my whole meal. I was told that "because of inflation, they had to charge me for an egg on top of everything even though I got no sausage, last time there was no issue but today there apparently was. The only reason this isn't a 1 star is because my parents liked there food. Really...

I’ve never complained publicly about a restaurant before this. We came for breakfast and it was horrible. An iced mocha normally comes with ice cream and sugar syrup but theirs it literally a mocha pored over ice. They burned the coffee so it was bitter which made it worse. I took it back and asked for a glass of water which came out after we finished the meal. The bacon and eggs was pretty bad. Not often do you have bacon with the uncooked rind but we got that and it was cold. The sourdough toast was thinner than a normal piece of bread and came on the side unbuttered. I had to ask for butter. The scrambled eggs were cold and tasteless. I barely touched my meal and when paying they could see there was something wrong and asked. I told them and tried to be polite as possible. I asked them if they could remove the iced mocha and meal as both were untouched and they refused only taking the mocha off. The portion size was very small for the price as well. I’m not sure about their lunch and dinner quality but I’m not willing to come...

We had a lunch reservation for 6 people and were happy to be welcomed by the energetic and lively Koby. We were well looked after by all staff; drinks and meals arrived in a timely manner. The ambience of the cafe is unique; the artwork, the murals and the little touches in the restrooms are subtle but stand out. The food was tasty, fresh and presented well only issue I had that wasn’t major enough to bring to the attention of the staff was that the toasted bread in my breakfast bruschetta dish was slightly burnt (and this is why I didn’t give 5 stars). We hung around for a bit after we were done with our meals and we appreciate that the staff didn’t try to rush us out or move us along. It was a hot day outside and the air conditioning here was comfortable (and welcome). Split bills were welcome and this always is a good thing when eating as a group. Koby’s energy, professionalism and willingness to assist was definitely a stand out and we all agreed that he’s pretty awesome. Will definitely be back next time...

Attended Picton Social for a late breakfast. We were immediately delighted with the ambience of the cafe with the many original artworks on display in the cafe and the numerous interesting and bespoke items for sale. Service was prompt and attentive. Water was provided on the table, and we ordered coffee's that were served quicker than we had anticipated, given that the cafe was quite crowded. Really good coffee, I enjoyed it a lot! We ordered our meals which arrived in a timely fashion. I had the Egg Benedict with Smoked Salmon. How to describe it? It just seemed to have more of everything. More ingredients, more flavour ... yes more of everything. We have to come back again to sample the "green goddess", most intriguing.

The price was a bit too pricey for the portion size, however the flavours were great! The menu had limited options available as well; and there was no kids menu. Originally ordered the pancake and Big Brekky but had to order the beef burger afterwards (we were still hungry). Super friendly and welcoming staff. Indoor and outdoor seating available but limited spots due to COVID-19 regulations (note: this does not affect the rating given). They followed the necessary measures needed due to COVID-19. Regardless of the cons, this is still a great little cafe to catch up with an old friend and enjoy a nice breakfast/lunch at.
