Arrived at 0850 well ahead of the planned ride on Pichi Richi which was scheduled to depart at 1030, figuring over 90 minutes would be ample time to dine comfortably. Sadly this was not the case.
Despite the regularity of which the train runs, there seemed to only be minimal staff to handle the upsurge of passengers rolling through before departure.
20 minutes wait for an order of coffees.
60+ minutes into our wait for breakfast and after enquiring we were advised our food was “being plated up now”
Still waiting at 70+ minutes and looking like we will be on the train without our food.

This retro little place is nestled in with the Pichi Richi Railway Station museum and is on the low side of Stirling Road. Loads of free car parking available.
