While living in Port Douglas for most of 2021, Origin Espresso was the reason I fell in love with coffee. Visiting in the morning became a cherished part of my routine, where I was greeted with what can only be described as genuine cups of joy. And don’t even get me started on the freshly baked croissants!
Now living in Adelaide, I still order beans from Origin Espresso. Despite being on the other side of the country, I’ve yet to find beans that come close to matching the freshness and quality of these. The team often includes a sample of their latest single-origin roast, which is such a thoughtful touch.
Whenever I’ve been back to Port Douglas, Neo still greets me by name—it blows me away every time! A huge thanks to the entire team for their top-tier service, attention to detail, and for being the reason I’m the coffee lover I am today.
If you’re visiting Port Douglas, you absolutely can’t miss this place. And if you’re not local, don’t hesitate to order beans by mail—my partner and I swear by them! I’m not usually one to write reviews, but this one is so...

My partner had an iced almond milk latte each day and loved it (looked amazing in a tall glass). Excellent service behind the counter, super friendly, quite a buzzy spot with locals and tourists (and dogs) all mingling and enjoying the shadey spot. Highly...
