Highly over-rated. Lovely but there are certainly better bakeries. This is a very popular bakery for both locals and tourists alike. There are lots of reviews saying things like “best bakery in the world” and “best bakery ever” - this is far from true. Prices: $$ Staff: Friendly enough Menu: Good choice of options. Food: Found the food to be pretty average. Croissant was nice but nothing special. It was not squashed like some places do. And the bacon and egg was nice but a bit oily. Was tasty, but had a bit to much butter and pepper taste. Tables: Were clean. Atmosphere: Was busy. Lots of friendly faces. Pros: Good location, was lots of seating. Cons: Some food was on the top of the counter and uncovered. Staff were taking orders and speaking over this food. Somewhat unsafe. Highly over-rated. Covid-19 friendly: Did not ask us to check in. Would we go there again: No. Would I recommend you go: Give it a go, but certainly don’t expect it to be “the best”

Wanted to review this Cafe cos I had a great experience when it come to customer service. I ordered an Ice coffee and an ice chai for me and the wife. When the ice chai come out it didn't come with ice cream which we assumed it would. When we questioned it the fella went and asked another staff member and then come back and informed us that it didn't normally come with ice cream. A few minutes later a lady (assuming the manager 🤷‍♂️) came out and asked if we were happy with the drink even tho it didn't come with ice cream and offered to rectify it. We asked if we could have ice cream in it and she went and straight away did as we asked and the wife said it tasted sooo much better. I just wanted to thank this lady for going over and beyond with the customer service. This is what makes places like you stand out from other cafes. Whoever this staff member was needs a bonus. Keep up the awesome customer service. Thanks again really appreciate it. 👍🏽

Very inviting Looking cafe and bakery, but a few problems, croissant looked lovely from the outside but the internal was not how it should be as it was very doughy and underbaked or under proved. Was hoping for a nice pot of jam on the site but got a massive serving of jam in the middle- so much it would have spoiled the croissant! I managed to scrape most of it off! I am sure everybody has their own preference but in France a croissant always comes with apricot jam !! Would be great to find a cafe in Aus that offers this ! $5.50 got me a single cup of tea and a bit of milk - come on guys I know it’s PD but how about a pot of tea - what’s it going to cost you - especially at that price - should be cheaper than Sydney……didn’t live up to my expectation sadly

It looked so perfect. These gi-normous, warm croissants (regular and almond) that just screamed “love me” but alas it was not to be. It was not for a shortage of butter, let’s be clear, but about the flavor and about the undercooked state of the interior for the regular croissant and the lack of almond-flavor essence for the second. I also noticed an overpowering coconut flavor with the almond croissant so if that’s your go-to, then this might be perfect for you. I thought, “Where is the almond paste flavoring that I’m used to as a Californian?” (Yes, I’m spoiled from having access to great almond paste). The lemon curd doughnut raised my curiosity enough to buy it but alas the dough was too heavy and not pillowy enough to be an awesome melt-in-your-mouth (think Krispy Kreme) doughnut. Awe, shucks. Looks = rating of 5 stars. 3 stars is based on...
