I couldn't recommend a better Burger joint in Port Macquarie. They have something for everyone, their menu covers everything. I've tried pretty much every beef and chicken burgers they offer and they are all amazing. They have stuff for vegetarians and vegans as well, I haven't personally tried them but my mates say they are all amazing too. They have a bunch of stuff for kids and it's perfect for family dining. The food comes out quickly and is always good quality. The prices are slightly higher then other fast food places but the increase in quality is well worth the extra cost.
The dine in options are great too. Outdoor seating can be a bit rickety but there's always the inside dining area which is always in great shape and very clean.
The wait times are short, even during the peak times the food is always flying out and I've never had to wait for a meal for more then 15-20 minutes.
I've been coming to Burger Urge for lunches for over a year now and all the staff have been amazing. Always greet me warmly and make sure I have everything I need for a good meal. The waitresses all check in with me to make sure I've got my meal and enjoy it. The cooks always deliver the best meals and if they see me waiting in line will often come out and serve me if others are busy. I just hope the owner or manager sees this and knows that they have the perfect team and all of them do extremely well. Don't be disheartened by the couple of bad reviews. You guys are amazing and always will be.

Read moreFirst visit to Burger Urge after being told by friends that I should try it. The restaurant itself is styled how you would expect a hipster/chic establishment would be, with lashings of dark colors and industrial design. As for the food, I ordered the 'Hotel California' and 'Dirty Fries' on the side. The meal arrived less than 10 minutes after ordering it and was presented nicely. As for quality, it was great. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the flavours worked really well. The main let down was the 'quantity'. Having eaten at Grill'd many times I've come to expect a fairly well packed burger for $13.50, but unfortunately this was not the case. The chicken breast was small compared to the bun and I felt as though the other fillings were also skimped on a little bit. The staff were excellent and their service was the same. I will return, but...
Read moreI am from the states this review is based on my visit prior to the Pandemic. I was on a road trip ftom Sydney to Byron and pulled into Port Macquarie to find a bite to eat. I was determined to not eat at Macca's as they are a dime a dozen back home and garbage. I arrived prior to closing. I worried the late visit would turn into a bad experience. But no! The staff was polite which is hard to come by in the USA. The food was quick to arrive, the beef tasted real and not jacked up with antibiotics, hormones and preservatives which is common in the states. Eating trash meat may be the reason why Yanks are loosing thier freaking minds. IDK however I say You should eat here so you don't loose your freaking...
