We stopped by this place because the outside seating looked quite nice (as it was a sunny day) and the wait staff were friendly however those are the only positives I can say. The venue isn’t table service so you have to go up to order and they don’t accept AMEX. Firstly, when we went to order, the girl at the counter missed a few items when putting our order in so we asked her to repeat the order to confirm the number of items. My friend saw on the display they had baklava so decided to add it to the order and when she asked the girl at the register ‘how much it was’, the lady in the kitchen (with dark hair) rudely and loudly said ‘that’s what the menus are for’ as a snarky remark when in fact this item isn’t even on the menu. I found this to be extremely rude considering the place wasn’t even busy. This lady needs an attitude check! Secondly, for $18 for a gozleme, you would expect that it to have all the items that it’s listed with - as you can see, there is no salad nor a beetroot dip (merely a smear). To top that off, the gozleme and filling was dry. If I was going to pay that much for a gozleme, I would have just ate at the markets which had a variety of food choices at a lower price point and was more filling! Save yourself the trip and money, and go somewhere else! We initially planned to go to Seasalt Cafe & Restaurant, and unfortunately made the mistake of coming here instead.

This evening my partner and I went to the “Iftar Banquet” — which was $40pp and bookings were essential. We booked a table for 2. Upon arrival it was disorganised, there was no proper direction on where to sit. Eventually found out that everyone would be sitting on rickety park style outdoor tables (with the attached bench seats) so you didn’t actually have your own table. It also wasn’t a banquet where anyone served you anything. It was a buffet where you served yourself. The food wasn’t kept warm outside so was almost cold by the time you got any. I’ve uploaded the “menu” which was the reason I booked. It definitely indicates you’ll have things provided FOR YOUR TABLE. This wasn’t the case. We also tried to buy a bottle of wine, and were told the garden is BYO. Again, not something that was communicated in the advertisement or when we booked. Very disappointing and not worth the $40pp. Edited to add: the cooked chicken mini wings were undercooked and the meat was still pink inside some — which gave me an upset stomach on my return home. Had we not had to pay the $40pp on arrival, we would’ve left when we realised it was a serve yourself buffet and seating was not separate tables.

A delightful garden with tables & chairs, or booths to sit within, or on their porch on. Lovely decor. Great authentic choice of Turkish meals or share plates. Had the slow-cooked lamb casserole with mushroom, capsicum, tomato & potato (Kuzu Guvec). The side dish choose rice & salad, out of the 3 choices. The Turkish bread that accompanied the meal, was freshly made & baked on the premises and was delicious. Used for soaking up the favourable juices from the very tasty casserole. Dessert, I chose Turkish Delight (Lokum) that came with some blueberries, strawberry, soft meringue & small Easter eggs. Delicious! I had Turkish coffee with dessert. Have been looking for a good Turkish coffee since moving from Sydney 6yrs ago, and this one did not disappoint. Wonderful coffee. Dessert & coffee was brought to the table on an ornate Turkish bell tray. Next time I'm interested to try Turkish Iced Coffee. Also the Gozleme looked wonderful as well as chagrined skewers. They also have on the menu Turkish style stuffed baked potatoes. So much choice of mouth watering dishes. It is BYO, if you want a beer or wine with your meal.

Absolutely LOVE Little Turkey!!💜💜 Came here for my birthday recently! Had friends visiting from Sydney- whom I'd told all about this place- so we enjoyed a DELICIOUS celebratory dinner together! My friends said it was the BEST meal they've had in YEARS! We chose the Meze Menu option for 3 people- $55 (I think?) per person-- SO.VERY.WORTH IT!!! SO MUCH food!!! You get an appetiser/entree, a second entree, a main & a dessert! Options for each! We had: Lamb + cheese spring rolls (DELICIOUS!!!!) Turkish bread & dips (YUUUUUMMMM) Chicken & mushroom + cheese & spinach gozleme (A-MAZING!!) Lamb & chicken shish - served with rice & salad & turkish bread 'n' dips...(SO SO GOOD & SO FILLING!) Baklava for dessert...(ABSOLUTELY DIVINE!....seriously... it is heavenly 😍) Everything was just delicious perfection! 😘🤌 So much flavour, so many options, so much food!! All made on premises, all cooked to perfection, all beautifully presented, and so, so TASTY!!💜💜💜 And the staff are just beautiful! So friendly & lovely & fun! Cannot recommend this place more highly, honestly! My friends & I thoroughly enjoyed (and STUFFED!) ourselves and I had a wonderful birthday! 😍😍🙏 (And truly, we could have just ordered for 2 people and we would STILL have been STUFFED!)

Definitely worth it. Definitely going back. Definitely worth your while to check it out!! 10/10!

THANK YOU, Little Turkey, for helping me celebrate my birthday & for the incredible food, flavour, service and JOY you bring to our little coastal town of Port Macquarie 😁😍💜🙏 (Alas, I was so busy enjoying myself & my food, I forgot to take photos! 🤦‍♀️) Check out pics other people have posted... Yes. It is as incredible as...
