Armati's Wood-Fired Pizzas — Restaurant in Queensland

Did you change your chefs? cause we went there and ordered yesterday July 26th noontime, and today 27th afternoon.The pizza was disappointing! Actually, we're regulars there. We used to go every Saturday or Sundays to get some pizza, The same chef with glasses at the pizza place who made both our pizzas today and yesterday does not know how to make or prepare the pizza properly! and it tasted different compare to pizzas we ate there and the sad part is, waited yesterday for a long time despite the fact it was not even busy!! How shameful!! we were not able to take a photo of it,we just ate it cause we were really hungry. We Prefer the lady chef or the chef with always a cap/hat on. They were fabulous when making pizzas. We just wasted our money on terrible pizza. But don't worry, we'll always come back. Service was great of course! Their manager dale was great and atmosphere is...

I’ve never experienced such a bad experience in a restaurant. No one came to give us the menu, we had to grab it ourselves. If only the story could end here, but it doesn’t.

We wanted water, so the waitress gave us 2 pitchers so we would carry them to our table & we also had to take the glasses so we would be able to drink.

Then, my pizza came without any cutleries and when I asked the waitress did asked me why I wanted cutleries for my pizza.

The story continue, 2 of my friends ordered pasta and they found, what seems like to be, 3 beard hairs.

The desserts arrive while we were eating our mains, and we asked for the spoons the waitress almost threw them on the table.

And finally, 9$ for a « panda cotta » which tastes like a simple yogurt. Would not recommend at all!!

Wonderful spot along Flinders Street. We ordered 2 Pizzas ( Meat Lovers and chicken bbq) which turned out to be to much for us. They gave us a takeaway box so we could take it home with us which was amazing. Nothing beats wood fire pizza that’s for sure, fresh out of the pizza oven to the table. It’s affordable to and definitely 10x better than any other pizza place in Townsville that will charge you and arm and a leg. The squid was crunchy and delicious with the tartare sauce on the side. Will definitely be coming back again one...
