The male staff member we had this weekend was abysmal. Clearly not trained in any form of hospitality and definitely not in hygiene. He was rude, greeting us without looking at us and a “yep” when we wanted to order. Zero customer service. Wouldn’t allow us to order from the breakfast menu even though it was still brekkie time, had to push him. Didn’t provide any cutlery. When asked for an extra plate he had his full hand over the base of the plate. I told him to return with a fresh one! Packing the cutlery with his hands after wiping his mouth. We had two days of this service and it was absolutely appalling. He asked us if anything was wrong and when providing feedback he had absolutely no idea. Food was actually good flavours and good value, we had breaky. Coffee was trash though. 4 of us had coffees and they all tasted bad and burnt (cold coffee too and with syrups). 2 were mixed up on delivery and took 2 attempts to have them remade. Bless the staff for being lovely and polite but huge language barrier. I don't eat meat. Tried to order the chilli scramble with no chorizo, but she kept saying no chilli. I said no I WANT the chilli just not the chorizo sausage. Back and forth trying to order and it finally looked correct on the screen. Then on arrival still came with no chilli and think it was missing someothing else but i just left it at that point. Literally got eggs on toast and a smear of cutney. Tasted nice but not...

We only came here as we had a free coffee voucher from the hotel but I wish I never came. Firstly the guy behind the bar clearly didn’t want to be there and was simply rude. The omelette was horrible and I couldn’t eat it, it was the driest thing I have ever had, I really have no idea how the managed to destroy it. The sourdough bread was very good though so at least I didn’t walk away hungry. The coffee wasn’t great either. I would suggest going else where as there are plenty of other breakfast cafes down...
