Asian Foodie Restaurant — Restaurant in Queensland

Ordered through Uber Eats. Pork dims sims, these 3 dumplings tasted old, pork smelt like it was on the turn, squeezed into a small container smothered in oil, no soy sauce. Fell apart trying to remove from container. Tasted oily, dirty! Beef w/Black Bean, the sauce tasted disgusting, poured straight into the container from a supermarket sauce bottle. Vegetables were uncooked, couldn't chew them. Beef was tough. Not even sure if it was cooked to be honest, tasted like raw vegetables & beef scraps mixed in a plastic container & smothered in black bean flavoured sauce. Very little beef, big chunks of uncooked veges, with sauce poured on top & filled to the brim of the container. Sweet & Sour Pork. The 'dirty taste' continued with the big tough pork chunks cooked in dirty oil. Sweet & Sour sauce looks & tastes 'watered down '. Rice was Steamed, & not in a good way. The only item that didn't leave a dirty taste & sick feeling after consuming. Worst Chinese that I've eaten, very disappointing. Must be a new, different cook, or perhaps the cook had the night off, & the cleaner was throwing together the dishes. My last experience, also my 1st, was 4-6 months ago, with the exact same dishes. Ir was delicious & authentic. A sumptuous Chinese meal! Worth every cent. This time it was like I was given the scraps from lunch that had been sitting out all afternoon, burnt cold uncooked veges, all the meat picked out of it. Thinking of taking the left overs back, make the cook eat the crap he is serving!...

We considered eating in but the tables were obviously dirty despite the restaurant being totally deserted. They overcharged us and we didn't realise until we got home - the prices on their menus are not accurate, they claimed. When we got the food home, the veg was undercooked and most of the cabbage was discoloured. There was chunks of char floating around which, while perhaps not affecting the quality was unappealing to the eye. The dish I had should not have had a soupy sauce and the sauce itself was mild and vaguely oil-flavoured. It left a bad after-taste. The fried rice was also obviously just steamed rice with charred frozen veg in it, and ultimately it was flavourless until the bottom of the container where it tasted strange. Would not recommend.

I also don't appreciate how the more recent and lower rated-reviews are not being shown as top results despite them being overwhelmingly representative of our experience. We called to complain, hung up when it became clear they were going to start arguing with us because they were not interested in refunding us for the poor quality or overcharge, and then they sent us a text message begging us to chat. I'm not picky, but it's gotta be in at least the bottom 5% of the restaurant experiences I've had, and the worst Chinese I've ever had out...

I ordered $168 worth of takeaway,and I no my foods as of a chiefs back round,now the food,I'm sorry but the food mainly the vegies looked like frozen reheated 3-5 days old food, tasted like that to,the sweet and sour sauce,and honey lemon tasted like, you no when someone doesn't rinse the cloth for days and it becomes overwhelming stink,thats the taste that came through. Tried to ask manager to come pick food up,and for a refund, but the blame is on Uber Eats,now that's another story,the Uber Eats lady turns up,and first time I get an Chinese lady driver with no car,and looked like she ran over or something,I noticed the food hasn't got the food stickers or the receipt attached,and the lady explained she got pulled over and got a $280 fine for speeding by police,like she wanted sympathy or something,but she delivered food on Time ???? But the manager gose on to say it's Ubers fault that's why food not fresh. ????? Something mighty fishy.cant help but...
