Salmon Sashimi $8 for 6 pieces is a great deal but very disappointing. The upside of sashimi cut look thick and the bottom side is freaking thin. Cheap sashimi but you get what you pay for. And the sashimi was not very fresh on Sunday when I visited.

Best Japanese take away restaurant in Cairns. Good portion and excellent taste. Highly recommend. 100% worth to wait. 日本食が食べたくなったら絶対ここに来て😊市内のお店より量も多く、とっても安く作りたてのご飯が最高です！寿司ロールもオーダーを受けてから作ってくれるので新鮮。待つ価値が絶対にあります！

Very disappointed. Had to wait nearly an hour for our food and when we got it home it was cold, tasteless and dry. Stood at the counter for quite a while when we got there with staff ignoring us and no acknowledgement. They weren't answering the phone either so it just rang until it went to answer machine then process would repeat. After an hour people were driven crazy. Seriously if you are busy get more staff....

Upon searching place to grab dinner for my family while holidaying in Cairns my bro-in-law and I stumbled upon this humble family establishment. Their prices were decent and they were so friendly I half expected the food to be lacking in some aspects but I was wrong and I couldn’t be happier, my family complimented me on selection of eatery and we ended up getting dinner again the following night. Ordered off uber eats at 8:30pm, only for the order to get cancelled an hour and a half later. Googled the restaurant to see it shuts at 8pm. On the uber eats app it has 11pm open till. This needs to be addressed as I still have not received a refund from the restaurant....
