We went for dinner with our toddler and had a nice meal! Food: food was great! And huge portions. I had the burger and it was perfectly cooked (link in the middle). My husband had the Parma and said it was good, standard pub Parma. My son had fish and chip and loved it. We ordered the Mezze plate for $30 and thought it would be ok size for an entree….it was huge! Could definitely feed 4 for an entree! Service: You have to order at the bar which is absolutely fine but you go to one counter to order food, another to order drinks. My husband ordered his beer then ordered my cocktail and was told he had to to go to the main bar for cocktails so ended up 3 different spots to order in total. QR code on the table would definitely be better. Food came very fast, mains came 5 mins after our Mezze plate. Not ideal but not really a problem! The staff were all very kind and friendly and willing to help. The gentleman that seated us was great! Atmosphere: atmosphere was fine, we were there early so was quiet. Only down side was they no longer have a kids play area. Not the end of the world as there is a park across the road that I took our son to and they gave us colouring in but would be nice if they could rebuild their kids area (there was a fire). All in all a good place to eat with a toddler!

Went for dinner with my teenage daughter tonight to try out the new menu. Had been craving steak and seafood so I ordered the eye fillet steak with the grilled scallop and creamy garlic prawn toppers (yes both). My daughter also got the eye fillet steak with gravy. Both cooked medium rare. The steaks and seafood were cooked to absolute perfection! The steak melted in our mouths as we ate them. Did not disappoint. Hats off to your chef they know great steak and seafood. My only request is to add creamy garlic sauce to your steak sauce options as you can only get it with the garlic prawn topper and it's such a popular option. The bug and prawn pasta dish came out just as we were leaving and looked absolutely amazing that will be what I try next after such a great experience with the seafood today :) Sorry about the picture had already started eating before I thought to take a picture.

I feel like the chicken parmigianas have gone down hill. The taste is not the same and it almost seems like the schnitzel is processed now. The salad and chips were fairly good but when you are paying nearly $30 for a parmigiana I expect it to be pretty good. Also there were all these black bits in the schnitzel (see photo).

Visited on the 5th of August, rode shotgun for the 5 hour round trip from the Sunshine Coast with my best friend who had a one hour work event on their birthday of all days. Not ideal. Wasn’t going to leave without a quick feed and a cold drink. Heard good things about this place and even though our circumstances might not have been ideal, let me tell you.. This Venue and the incredible staff definitely are. Easily one of the best venues I’ve ever set foot in, layout, size, space and ambience and warm, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, helpful staff which speaks volumes about the management team and the workplace culture they’ve built. It is just a beautiful place to be. As a seasoned veteran of the hospitality industry I wandered in with the usual mix of open minded curiosity, measured scepticism and critical eye. As I took everything in my unfamiliarity with my surroundings betrayed me and I was immediately approached by a friendly welcoming staff member named Billy who politely asked if I needed any help, we had a productive and helpful chat and he explained the layout answered all my questions and pointed me in the right directions.. Organised myself a drink (Extremely well priced compared to Sunshine Coast!) the Bartender was great and excellent communication, when my bestie arrived from their work gig, we grabbed another round and then went to grab some food. Another amazing staff member Millie took me through the ins and outs of the menu (Restricted due to Kitchen Repairs at the time, but plenty of options) again.. Absolutely lovely, warm, friendly, helpful, professional.. I cannot speak more highly of every single interaction I had with every team member. We grabbed some wings to share they were tasty as, succulent and hit the spot perfectly. If you are passing through town, you have to stop in and enjoy everything this venue has to offer, and if you live in Harvey Bay and this isn’t your local, stop whatever you’re doing and get here and support...

We booked a table for 5 in the high table pub area for dinner as we wanted to watch the NRL semi final. We arrived and were told sorry we’ve given your table to someone else (despite being early for our booking) and were ushered into the side function room area for dinner (no one else in this room!). The young girl tried to get the tv to work but couldn’t, went and got someone else to go couldn’t either and a manager then came in to assist and got it working. He also said to the staff oh I didn’t realise we put people in here why would we do that? We ordered the food via the app but then it was hard to get the kids free drinks and desserts as we had shut the app and wasn’t emailed a receipt (despite them seeing our order had been placed). Meals were ok, kids penne bolognaise had about 8 pieces of pasta. Sweet potato fries were cold and had no aioli as advertised. Got drinks (lemonades and lemon lime bitters) - to discover the line wasn’t working and had to have our drinks remade which took about 20 mins. Other people came in and left as it was too cold in that room and they shut the doors. Others then came in said it was too hot to which the manager man advised his staff this is why we don’t put people in here. As it was raining outside the floors were damp and very slippery - one of our children slipped over in the bathroom and again whilst leaving. No wipe mats for feet. For the price of the food and drinks the atmosphere was not great, the young staff were very helpful but we felt like a burden being placed in this area even though we hadn’t booked here. Sadly wouldn’t...

As a Hervey Bay local, there aren’t many restaurants we can appreciate and rely on. Beach House was one of our top five spots until last night. Obviously there have been some significant changes.

The serving sizes have gotten smaller and it appears some of the food such as the chips have changed. This wouldn’t be a problem if the food actually tasted good but it wasn’t pleasant at all. Everyone at the table was disappointed with their meal.

Upon arriving we said our booking name and were taken to a table by a confused looking waitress. A second waitress who appeared to be a manager perhaps, came to our table minuets later asking what the name of the booking was. Both ladies stood by an iPad scrolling, discussing our booking. Nothing more was said. When I ordered our entree I was met with staff who seemed on edge and unapproachable. When I ordered our mains, I made specific requests. When our food came to the table those requests hadn’t been met. We had two staff members approach us while we ate, checking if everything was okay but felt due to the uneasy vibes and fact I had so specifically shared our requests and had them not met or spoken about once the food arrived it was just … awkward. When a waitress came to collect our plates and asked once again if everything was okay we all began sharing with her how it wasn’t really and thanked her for her service and said we likely wouldn’t return.

Such a disappointing experience. You will be missed...
