A visually pleasing atmopshere for people who are very nostalgic of, or just a fan of anything popular about the 1950s era. The staff are welcoming, helpful, and accommodating.
The food is based on very classical iconic American food. Generous in size portion, and the menu options are plentiful on two full pages, and a bunch of mains let you build-your-own - with lots of customisable food toppings. We liked that.
The value for money needs were met, and we both enjoyed it, we didn't leave hungry or disappointed.
Location wise it might be easily missed if you're new to the area and relying on Google maps to locate it. Look for the very iconic statue resting on the seat, with enough room aside him.. waiting for you to take a photo together.
Multi choice Trivia card game is available at each table so give it a try with friends whilst the food is cooking.

Read moreWe visited for lunch a few days ago. I ordered the loaded fries with cheese sauce and beef brisket, while my friend had the chicken BLAT. The chips themselves were fresh and delicious, but unfortunately, the brisket was quite chewy and tasted like it had been reheated from a packet — definitely not something I’d recommend. My friend said the chicken BLAT was nice, though.
The serving sizes were very generous — we both struggled to finish our meals!
Customer service could use some improvement. The staff member taking our order seemed more focused on a conversation happening behind the counter between other employees. She repeatedly asked questions but didn’t seem to be paying attention to our responses, which made ordering a bit frustrating.
The décor has a cute theme, but it’s clear the space hasn’t been maintained well. Some areas looked quite dated, and the floors had noticeable yellowing.
Overall, I wouldn’t rush back or go out of my way to...
Read moreThe staff were super lovely and helpful and the decor was nice. The gluten free vegan burger wasn't even a quarter as good as the one at the boat club. The patty had no veggies that I could taste or see (it seemed more like a fake meat patty which is the unhealthiest kind). and the burger generally had no flavor. If I wasn't so hungry, I would have taken it home for my labrador. The sauce also seemed excessively thickened and lacked flavor. And it's more expensive than the one at the boat club. It generally didn't seem as fresh or natural or bursting with fresh goodies. I won't be returning for more and took one for the team on this one. I spoke to my friend this arvo who's also been there for breakie once and she said she refused to eat what she ordered and would never return either based on her experience...
