We actually expected more from this place because it looked like a nice restaurant in a nice quiet area. The waitresses (all 3 of them) were passiv all the time, never smiled or asked how the food is or if everything is alright. They didn't even say hello to us. The food was disgusting! My noodle dish tastet like nothing and the noodles were way too soft. The salt and pepper calamary dish from my mum was so salty that she couldn't eat it. Only the spring rolls in the beginning were alright. But actually we wouldn't even had to order an apetizer because (after observing it for a while) all other tables got crabs chips with their tabwater in the beginning. We didn't. And because it was not enough for the evening. We didn't even get a 'sorrie' or a 'excuse me this shouldn't be like this' or any other kind of excuse ! What a shame, really ! We expected way more ! Having been a regular for many years at the OP, decided to order dinner for my partners birthday via the OP website. What a mistake.... Filled out our order, picked pick up at 1.30pm, checked opening hours, 11am-2.30pm. Paid via Visa 65.00 accepted. Left Toogoom at 1pm and arrive at OP at 1.30....CLOSED. Rang ..voice message. Contacted them at 4.45pm, the young lad who answered was pleasant. I advised him of my issue. My solution- free delivery of our order. Went for dinner as part of a large group. We dined in, and for such a large group the delivery of the food was so fast. They must have been going flat out in the kitchen because they were bringing out takeaway orders as well as ours, and another tables. The food was very well presented, generous and tasty. The staff were so friendly and helpful with my wife's requests for extra chilli on the side etc. It's byo wine with a corkage fee per person to cover breakage etc. For all this you would expect to pay a fortune but it is very reasonably priced.
