Food tastes better than Taco bell, but not quite at restaurant level standard of food service. Good menu selections and good value. However too many modern mash ups on menu that can refined and reduced easily with less confusion. Dining set up more suitable for lunch, has a Bar and Takeaway service. Staff are bar attendants and takeaway attendants. The service attendants are not properly nor adequately trained to provide three star standard of dine-in restaurant service. The place appeared run down and disorganised. I've edited this review for better feedback. We booked early dinner reservation for large group (12people) we arrived at the start of the evening to a disorganised mess. Anticipating a good feed, we waited patiently and pleasantly for 20 minutes to be served by only one service order attendant. There was only one other customer waiting when we arrived. The timing and delivery of food was a mess. The outdoor dining area was horrible and uncomfortable for dinner. The seating area was covered in and smelled of bird poop that most of us adults shifted to tall bar tables. Bar tables and seats were too big for space and the awkward set up overhung walk ways, also towered over the smaller tables. Making the outside area closed in and uncomfortable for most guests to sit at smaller tables. Set up for pub drinking sessions, not dinner. Had to ask for napkins/serviettes and cutlery. Given dirty cutlery. Took over an hour to get all our orders that were served sporadically. Three guests left in first 30 minutes with takeaway burritos, while the remainder waited for their orders. The one cashier service attendants handling of incorrect orders and attitude was disgusting. This reduced our spending and I could not enjoy a drink without inappropriate staff audience and negative intentions. Their behaviour made the overall dine-in experience extremely unpleasant for most of us. We didn't make a fuss or expect anything fancy, just wanted a descent tasty mexican feed and go home without the small minded dramas. Their current work ethic standards, questionable food handling and unprofessional customer service behaviour may be worth looking into. It's not doing the business credit. Honestly disappointed. With current setup recommend dinner inside. Hope my feedback helps provide you with a...

My wife and I dined at the Smithfield Burrito Bar last Thursday night and before ordering I asked the waitress what the specials are on today, she came back and said there are none. I was surprised as we have dined there a few times before and there was always a special available.

We ordered two burgers and paid full price for both burgers. Upon finishing our meal I noticed the sign board, refer photo attached which displays Thursday 2 for I. I approached one of the staff members who came from the cooking area. I stated to him that I had just seen the sign that there is a 2 for 1 deal but when I previously asked about any specials I was advised there weren't any?

The staff member advised that they do not promote the special and that you have to ask for it and as I didn't ask for it they do apply the special when purchasing the meal. I asked to speak to the manager however they advised he was not in the shop at the time.

On leaving the store I noticed the manager and asked him for his name which he stated why I wanted it ,I advised him that I would be lodging a complaint as the conduct of Smithfield outlet contravenes the ACCC regulation as the business has been misleading but he stated he does not need to provide his name (refer photograph of the manager). He stated the same as the first staff member but added that the staff members did not know about the special which was untrue as the staff members knew about it but stated they do not promote it.

I have lodged this with head office and will take it to the ACC if not dealt with...

I'm not usually one to complain but I've only been to this restaurant twice and both times had issues. Just popped in for lunch. My partner went to order a naked bowl with the deluxe option. He came back to the table saying they can't do the deluxe option for the naked bowl. I was pretty perplexed by that considering it's a bowl of rice and vegies so I was unsure why the deluxe option being an add on of guacamole and sour cream was not able to be put on top??? Nevertheless we thought outside the square and ordered a side of guacamole and sour cream separately for me to put on top to make my own 'deluxe option'. My partner ordered a deluxe chicken burrito. Half way through and he mentioned he hadn't had one piece of chicken. We assumed the girl maybe got the order wrong but nope....he kept eating and right there at the end of the burrito was one piece of chicken. One! A girl ended up coming towards the table. I assumed it was to clear our plates and I thought I would get the opportunity to mention he was pretty unimpressed by the lack of chicken but as I opened my mouth she stopped at the table beside us, pushed in a chair and walked away minus our plates or the convo. Food was ok-ish but you throw a bit of sauce, sour cream and avocado on anything and it goes alright. I don't think we'll be venturing back...

One of my favorite burrito bars is a place called "Burrito Bar" located in Smithfield shopping centre. The restaurant is known for its delicious and generously sized burritos that are made with fresh ingredients and flavorful spices. The atmosphere is casual and laid-back, with colorful decor and friendly staff that make you feel right at home. When you first walk in, you are greeted by the smell of freshly cooked meats and vegetables. The menu is extensive, with a variety of options to choose from, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. You can customize your burrito to your liking, with a choice of meat, rice, beans, cheese, and toppings. I usually go for the chicken burrito with black beans, rice, cheese, guacamole, and salsa. It's so tasty! The prices are reasonable, and the portions are large enough to share or take home for later. If you're in the mood for something lighter, they also offer salads and bowls. The restaurant also has a great selection of drinks, including beer, margaritas, and fresh juices. Overall, I highly recommend Burrito Bazaar if you're looking for a delicious and satisfying meal in a fun and relaxed environment. plus it's quick and easy close to where we were staying

I went for the $19.95 ribs half rack special that includes a drink -- beer or soft drink. The ribs were good and I enjoyed them. The chips were hot & fresh but "ruined" by a sauce spread over them. I asked why and they said that's how they serve them. Earlier photos here confirm that. I guess it's personal taste but I like hot, crispy chips and the sauce takes away the crunch so that's not good for me. The rating is low mainly because service was slow; it was 35 mins between ordering and when the food was served. I thought ribs take a long time to cook so they're prepared in advance & therefore they're fast to serve? Except for that it was quite OK.
