Spicy bite smithfield — Restaurant in Smithfield

Had this for the first ordered through one of the online delivery services. *Pros - lamb Rogan was tasty and the meat was cooked great! Butter chicken was tasty, thick and chicken was also cooked nicely Garlic Naan was tasty and big *Cons- Butter chicken had very little chicken in it. I've seen this mentioned before in reviews and it's true. For $25 there was barely any chicken definitely not even enough for 2 people to share even if sharing several dishes together. The butter chicken had more of a tomatoey sauce then your regular butter chicken. It was more of a mild creamy butter chicken with tomato flavour through it. I quite liked it although slightly different to usual but my daughter really wasn't a huge fan. Not oily

Overall I would order again as I personally enjoyed the flavours & the meat being cooked properly but it's not something I would order often as it's just too expensive for little meat & certainly wouldn't order it for multiple people as you would need to order so many dishes to...

I have been to spicy bite Smithfield a couple of times before and it has now become my favourite go to spot. I absolutely love the food and the service is quick.

The best thing about the place is that the food is always fresh and yummy at the same time.The desserts will just blow your mind .( gulabjamun freshly made in the restaurant itself and chia seed Falooda which I had on their 2nd anniversary was super healthy and delicious ) The snacks ( crispy golgappa served with potato and minty water and tamarind sauce ) is mouthwatering ..( must try before the main course).

Not just that the ambience was really nice and I just loved the traditional wall they have specially put up which reminds Indian heritage .Its a masterpiece.

I would highly recommend everyone to come and try this plsce .I m sure you will keep...

First time ordering from the Smithfield shop after many years eating at edge hill .

Was unfortunately very disappointed. Mango Lassi Was very watery and it was sent with uber eats in a open top drink container that spilt over the rest of the order .

Mango chicken was almost as watery as the lassi - to the point that we question weather there was any mango in it at all .

The rest of the $120 order was adequate but definitely still not to the standard that we normally get at other spicy bites.

The whole order felt like it had been toned down in any flavours to make safe for a western pallet.

As somebody that has worked in hospitality kitchens - I only leave a review such as this when truly unsatisfied.
