I had been here a week or so ago when Rocky Nats was on. I had a mango smoothie and frittatta and had a wonderful time amongst the atmosphere. Then I made the mistake of coming back a week later on a saturday morning. Biggest gripes first. We had to ask for a staff member to clean a table off as they had crumbs and leftover food from the last guests. The boy came out and gave it a quick wipe, throwing the food onto the chairs and called it a day, leaving the table wet. We got our own serviettes to dry the table and clean off our chairs. I ordered a tea, where unfortunately the cup had lipstick on it, and the spoon had something brown on it that came off when brushed. Food? Who knows. I couldn’t ask the staff member as they dump the things on the table and run. Considering the loudest sound was the staff chatting with eachother out the back and in the cafe, I would assume they were eager to return to their conversations. The guests at the table next to us left, and it took 30 minutes for a staff member to come and wipe it down, again throwing it on the seats and leaving it there. The whole time we were there we were annoyed by flies - sitting inside mind you - and there was one dying on the table next to us. I would highly recommend Investing in an air curtain to dissuade them from flying in at their leisure. The tables didn’t have any serviettes, which is usually no problem, but considering the menus on the table had dried food all through the booklet, maybe they should consider providing serviettes at the table instead. I ordered the mango and coconut pancakes, and my partner ordered the BBQ pulled beef flat grilled wrap. To the staffs credit our drinks and food arrived in a timely manner. His wrap looked good, the utensils and plate were clean, however their salad was cucumber and cherry tomatoes on a bed of lettuce. No sauce or vinaigrette in sight. Very bland and boring for $18.90. However my pancakes were a bit of a let down. The mango was sweet, and the syrup was delicious, however the photo provided had delicate coconut shavings. When my food arrived however I was provided with hard crunchy coconut bits. Not a great texture to have with everything else being so soft. Would I go here again after today? No, I wouldn’t. It is in a beautiful location but unfortunately the service and cleanliness just...

Not too organised, I just wanted a 2 person table and to be able to wait for my husband to arrive before ordering lunch. No ....wasn’t to happen. The waitress asked if I was ok said I was looking for a table for 2, she pointed over behind the main counter, great I found 1 with easy lil soft stools at just the right height (hubby has new knee & I have back surgery not long ago) just sat down then another lady comes out and says no how about this table and 2 chairs which are high bar stools and high table. Not very comfy and more so suited for drinks/bar not a lunch. But I moved to the high chairs. Then was proceeded to be told that I’ll have to order at the counter in order to sit. I said I was hoping to wait for my husband to arrive before I did. The lady said maybe a coffee even? . I didn’t feel like a coffee before lunch. It just all seemed all too hard for all involved so I said no don’t worry I will leave. Can’t believe you can’t wait for your partner in the shop before ordering. We’ve been here many many times for breakfasts lunches and quick coffees. But that will...

The waitress was super rude. Went there on Sunday morning, realised that there aren’t any table available. So we asked one of the waitress if we need to get a number and where should we stand to wait for a table. Then she pulled her face at us saying: well obvious there’s so many people here sitting down. (as if I can't see?) Like what is that attitude? We simply just did not know how the seating works at this place that’s why we asked? Don’t know much about this coffee club, but the staffs at the Stockland one are way way way nicer. And it’s not only us having such bad experiences. Our friend came last week on a weekend as well, and that particular waitress was giving them an exact attitude.

We will NEVER EVER go back to this shop again in the future. Such a bad experience.

Probably one of the WORST customer service we have...

Returned again the other night. Dinner was OK. Garlic bread describes sourdough with garlic and herb spread. Clearly was no herbs. No biggy. Mains was a Asian Calamari Salad. Description stated baby spinach....clearly no baby spinach in bowl. Calamari was tender and not too stringy though. Wasn't busy at all. Service was appropriate speed and friendly staff. Pity they couldn't serve exactly what was on menu. Was a little let down and only mentioned on paying but wasn't expecting anything out of it. Pasta dish was fresh, tasty and generous serve. A possible option if you are on more of a budget but want to eat out. Lovely atmosphere at sunset by the river.

It's pretty rare that my partner and I are convinced that we could cook literally every item better than what a restaurant served. The white hot chocolate was tepid at best. Servers would have known as it's served in a glass. Can feel it was not hot before taking a sip. Chips were described as "broomed from under the appliances" as they don't look as if they were cooked today. No crispness, rubbery and just overall sad. Didn't provide any salt or pepper. Eggs were cooked well enough but quite flavorless. Only half a tomato is pretty poor form. Bread was well toasted.
