Sipping matcha in a Kombi near the waterfront at Cody's Coffee Shack was a dream! Theirs is easily the best matcha in Hervey Bay. Strong matcha flavour and subtle sweetness. You can tell it's a proper powder and not an extra sweet latte powder a lot of other cafes seem to use. Also recommend the paninis they were fresh, hot, and very yummy. This is such a cool place. Having seating inside a Kombi is a highlight, of course. Josh and the girls provide a lovely warm atmosphere and give excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

Stopped here for coffee/ tea and some light food as ambiance looked really lovely. Was disappointed with everything else. This place is actually more like kiosk than cafe as everything you receive packed as take away. My ham and cheese toastie was really disappointing, flat and over toasted and our drinks were far from quality coffee and chai. If you are looking for proper breakfast and coffee I recommend go somewhere else
