Cold Rock Ice Creamery Toowoomba North — Restaurant in Queensland

Whole bunch of underwhelming at this store. Store was not very well lit, didn’t look or feel particularly clean, and we were there in what I suspect should have been the 3.30pm Friday afternoon rush. There was one person just leaving when we entered and one person after us, and the store still felt very spacious - easy to be covid safe distance away from other patrons. The one person serving was not particularly engaging, and certainly for my first time in a Cold Rock store in over 5 years, it was quite an unsatisfying experience. Lots of ice cream and options to mix in, on display, but no real direction in what to ask for to get the end result of the menu pictures displayed - clearly ended up disappointed with my roughly chopped up Milky Way in coconut ice cream. On top of that, we actually walked into the store for an ice cream cake - I am still unsure if this is something they can supply - I saw no advertising, and there was one weird little thing that looked like a plastic cake - and obviously as previously mentioned, the staff member was not all that helpful. I think if you can climb the stairs after finding a close car park, and want an easy, but overpriced ice cream on a hot day - this place will...

26/11/2022 Cold Rock North Point Toowoomba... We had a lovely family dinner, so we thought we would go to Cold Rock for some ice cream to top it off. When we arrived just before 9pm , it looked like the staff were getting ready to close. We got the impression that it was a big ordeal to serve us, as there was a lot of eye rolling and very rude mannerisms. One staff member in particular, was very rude and started slamming things around when she finished serving us. She told another family they could not sit at tables as they were closing. I looked at the time when she made this statement and noticed it was just after 9pm. The ice cream was soft and melting rapidly when served. Customer service was appalling, and one staff member in particular made it seem like we were intruding on their night. First experience with this particular Cold Rock. Not too sure if I would return after the appalling service and...

Purchased a kids cup $6 and regular cup $8 and both were served in the kids size cup. Queried this prior to paying and the obvious was denied. They were in fact the same size cup and I was therefore overcharged and not given what I paid for. Already had to wait to be served whilst some oversized women abused sample privileges and stuffed around deciding what flavour she wanted… whilst blocking the view of an entire cabinet of ice creams so we couldn’t decide what we wanted prior to ordering. customer service was sour and unwelcoming… another business employing 20 somethings, who consider customers a burden distracting them from socialising. The girl who served me coughed and sniffed constantly and was clearly sick. Apparently the stay the hell home message doesn’t apply to...
