Enjoyed my time here, sometimes by myself and other times with my partner. Unfortunately one of the servers (the white girl, don’t know her name) made an inappropriate joke about me always paying and that my partner should pay for me for once. Even stated next time if we came and he didn’t pay then she would punch him (with a punching motion). And that there she be equality between us. I was very uncomfortable. She even had a disgusted look on her face, maybe trying to empathise with me or be relatable? Maybe tried being funny? I don’t know why. Not that it’s her business or anyone else’s, but my partner pays for the mortgage and every other bill that comes with owning a house. All I do is pay for the food. I politely told this woman that he takes care of me, that he is a nice man and all I take care of is the food.
We came by again today and saw her, my partner wasn’t comfortable to eat there so he sat on his phone while I ate myself. When we went up to pay the same server greeted us, I didn’t make eye contact and didn’t say a word. She was acting pleasant but I was uncomfortable after last times interaction. Unfortunately, we will not be dining here again. Gave it a second chance but she had ruined it for us. Please save your feminism and woke jokes out of business and do not put your opinion into the relationships of your customers, especially when you don’t know...

We found one of the women working to be extremely rude and very dismissive. The way she spoke to us wasnt polite and she all but shoved our food at us.
We ordered our food which was a mix of vegitarian and normal rolls as I am a vegitarian and my friend is not, we received our rolls mixed together the vegi ones touching the meat ones. This isn't something that bothers me personally but I know other people who would not have eaten the rolls as they had been in with the meat.
Additionally the avacado on the rolls was a horrible brown colour, my avo had black dots on it and my friends was outright brown.
Aside from this the food was quite tasty and I have no complaints about the food itself aside...
Read moreHad the Tonkotsu Ramen the other day. It was sensational! Please keep it on the menu!! I travelled to Japan years ago and specifically to Kitakata (the ramen capital of Japan). The ramen served here is incredibly authentic. The only thing that could make it better is an Onsen egg but Australian eggs are likely not up to the task.
Came in again today for the ramen again. Was just as good, well done! Also... The poor young waitress deserves plenty of praise for handling a very busy restaurant by herself. She did...
