Super Rooster — Restaurant in Queensland

Have travelled passed for years and finally decided to try after Jon Wyeth made his video. When I arrived, the drive through line was super long and I thought..wow. This is another local food treasure. Here is my review of what I tried

Pineapple fritters: best one ever tasted. Very crunchy, same batter as their fried chicken in their burger. Slightly salted gave it a perfect balance

Chicken sandwich: solid pulled chicken protein with stuffing. Bun was soft ..great protein and carbo load without the work of pulling a whole chook

Fish fillet: As good as any fish and chips shop. Can taste the freshness of the fish. A surprising nice item in a chicken shop.

Banana fritters: batter didnt stick to the banana ..wasn't as crunchy but still enjoyable

Corn: over boiled and too salty

Fried chicken burger: simple burger but the patty is juicier than the zinger. I prefer this to zinger. Definitely a must try.

Coleslaw was less creamy the other brand..prefer this one.

They NEVER PROVIDE NAPKINS, CUTLERY 🍴 or WET WIPES. I always visit this store when visiting toowoomba once a month. And NEVER have they EVER provided napkins, cutlery or wet wipes. This is a greasy chicken and chips takeaway store. It should be a basic standard to include napkins, cutlery and wet wipes with the meal. They do have these all available right near the takeaway window but never Include or even ask. We ALWAYS have to ask, and when we do, the staff look at us like we have annoyed them somehow by asking for a bare minimum standard. Best chips in town, but come on Super Rooster, do the right...
