We collected a Chinese from here last night and found the food to be average - good. The honey chicken especially and the fried rice. The beef curry we had was questionable as it contained more zucchini and broccoli than anything else but was still alright. Noodles were decent too, generous portion at least! We probably won’t rush back, having spent 70$ on a meal that was not the best version we’d ever had, but I sure enjoyed the honey chicken. Up north in England, Chinese takeaways are really something to behold. Perhaps this is why I’ll never enjoy one anywhere else 🤧. I really wish salt and pepper chips caught on in Aus, as it’s really a staple to any westernised Chinese takeaway. 4$ for prawn crackers was also a bit out there in my opinion as often you’re given a small bag of those for free when you spend a decent amount of money...

I've had to update my last review for this restaurant as it was a few years old and the place has only gotten better with time. My hubby and I still buy from here quite regularly, but more so now as we've moved into the area now. On Thursaday night he bought the Oyster Chicken and he loves their BBQ fried Rice. And their Steamed Dim Sims are home made, hubby says their amongst the best he's tried. I got the Beef n B Bean and fried Rice. Wow the beef felt like it just melted in my mouth, it was that tender andhubby said the same about his also. I've been told that some people from Gympie stop in on the way home just to buy a meal. Fair warning thou: they only do takeaways so especially on Thursaday and Friday night be prepared to wait awhile. But remember the RSL is across the road...

Gday i been to china ten times japan ten times Nepal England America Singapore Malaysia Indonesia studied food quality taste time and presentation. any way cut to the truth. possibly one of the tastiest meals my family ever had. We wrapped the food in a big cotton towell. Now the Star of the story is the 12 year old boy who served me take away and a table whilst i was watching. I asked him young felka you getting paid he said no.im just helping my mum and dad in a broad auusie accent. i then cast my mind to my priveledged globesuckers and realised if.my sons could be more like him....

Been going here for 15 years and loved every meal. Since new ownership the food has gotten fresher and better. Recommend the deep fried salt and pepper squid (and add chilli!). Estimated wait times can be off, but this is normally due to large number of customers ordering because the place is so popular. Great owners and great food. 5/5. Update Dec 2024 - Still great.

We called in as a last minute thing. We got a prawn omelette, combination chow mien with soft noodles, large fried rice and prawn chips. OMG all of the food was absolutely delicious. Full of flavour and the portions were very generous. 5 ⭐️ thank you to the very helpful young lady that helped me decide on the combination chow mien. Worth every $$
