We collected a Chinese from here last night and found the food to be average - good. The honey chicken especially and the fried rice. The beef curry we had was questionable as it contained more zucchini and broccoli than anything else but was still alright. Noodles were decent too, generous portion at least! We probably won’t rush back, having spent 70$ on a meal that was not the best version we’d ever had, but I sure enjoyed the honey chicken. Up north in England, Chinese takeaways are really something to behold. Perhaps this is why I’ll never enjoy one anywhere else 🤧. I really wish salt and pepper chips caught on in Aus, as it’s really a staple to any westernised Chinese takeaway. 4$ for prawn crackers was also a bit out there in my opinion as often you’re given a small bag of those for free when you spend a decent amount of money...
Read moreI've had to update my last review for this restaurant as it was a few years old and the place has only gotten better with time. My hubby and I still buy from here quite regularly, but more so now as we've moved into the area now. On Thursaday night he bought the Oyster Chicken and he loves their BBQ fried Rice. And their Steamed Dim Sims are home made, hubby says their amongst the best he's tried. I got the Beef n B Bean and fried Rice. Wow the beef felt like it just melted in my mouth, it was that tender andhubby said the same about his also. I've been told that some people from Gympie stop in on the way home just to buy a meal. Fair warning thou: they only do takeaways so especially on Thursaday and Friday night be prepared to wait awhile. But remember the RSL is across the road...
