I am livid! About a year ago, we visited the German Bakehouse stall at Yandina Market and asked what items were dairy-free/vegan. The attendant said the lemon twist, cinnamon scroll, and another apple sweet were. We purchased. The next time we visited, we asked again. The answer was the same. So in the last year we have been visiting the GB regularly, including the store in Cooroy to purchase these goods. This Sunday, we visited the stall at the Fisherman's Bend Market and asked for the lemon twist and cinnamon scroll and whether anything else was dairy-free/vegan. The honest attendant said that the lemon twist and cinnamon scroll weren't and showed us the ingredients! I was ropeable! How can they deceive their customers like this?! I can only imagine the implications of lying to someone with a severe allergy. I will never shop there again and will be telling my friends not to either. Shameful...

Read moreGreat food, particularly enjoy the avocado smash, and the roast vegetables on sourdough. Used to visit often. Not so much lately as the senior staffâs mask wearing is very sloppy. Tried again today - the staff member making the coffee had no mask, not even hanging over his left ear like usual, and handled cups around where people drink from. The staff member out the back making the food had no mask. The junior staff waiting tables did much better. Not good enough, signals a slack attitude and disrespect for patrons. We moved on to Pomona where there is a nice cafe serving good food and coffee and adherent to COVID safe policies respecting their patrons. Cooroy is off the visiting list now. So sad. Will miss the...
