I must say I really did have a simply delightful time at Jamaica Blue in Cooroy! All the staff were so warming it was almost like being tightly wrapped in a cosy cotton blanket, dipped in hot chocolate and cuddled to sleep by the devil himself while brewing in his boiling cauldron that he calls his realm... But in a good way :)
The mocha, well where do i start? The flavors simply exploded in my mouth and became what can only be described as a coco coffee consumable paradise that went down with as much ease as an oiled up dolphin on a freshly sprayed water slide... And golly do the dolphins love a good water slide!
And then we get to the ice cream.... Ohhhh the ice cream! After what I thought was possibly the most sensational thing to ever pass my palet, I then come across this slippery little hidden frosty gem at the bottom of my glass. It was as was as cool as ice, and I was definitely willing to sacrafise... my calorie count for the day, because the experience was too divine for me to care.
And a care free attitude takes me on to my final inspired and some what strategically engaging observations. And that is in regards to the free spirit who works behind the bar. This coffee bean melting, milk mixing, taste teasing superhero goes by the name of Mouette, and is quite simply a breath of fresh air to humanity. She has enough energy to power a full blown nuclear war, but let's not put a negative spin on what is what you could call 'Cooroy's own little bubble of positivity'.
And for these reasons, and these reasons alone, this lovely venue is getting a full 5 magical stars from one of its newest regular returning customers, and now biggest fan.
Yours...

As someone who spends Saturday and Sunday mornings exploring new breakfast spots wherever I live, I can confidently say that my recent experience at this restaurant was exceptional, prompting me to write my first-ever review.
The Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict was out of this world. Each bite was a perfect balance of flavors—the smokiness of the salmon, the rich hollandaise, and the perfectly poached eggs. It was a breakfast dish to remember and one that sets a new standard for eggs benedict everywhere.
Alongside the benny, I enjoyed a large, extra-hot mocha. The taste was fantastic, with just the right blend of rich chocolate and robust coffee, making it a perfect companion to the savory dish. I also grabbed a berry smoothie to go, which was equally delightful and refreshing.
The staff at this restaurant were incredibly pleasant, always greeting customers with big smiles and providing attentive service throughout my visit. Their friendliness and efficiency added to the overall positive experience.
Though I usually don't visit the same restaurant twice in my quest to discover new breakfast places, this restaurant has earned a special place on my list. There is a 100% possibility that I will return to this beautiful spot to relive the fantastic flavors and warm...
Read moreStopped in for an afternoon coffee, waiting in line for a while as the other staff walked around the shop. On reaching the counter, I was asked for my order, which i said I would like outside as I have a dog, I was then asked if I was eating in or taking away.......!!!!! I ordered my espresso and a scone with jam and cream, told were to sit, the coffee arrived quickly, waiting, waiting for my scone, which eventually arrived, runny watered down jam and mock cream........ ugghh, espresso is a single/double shot of coffee, this was dish water, never again. Lots of other coffee shops in town to choose from. Beside all that, the staff need some customer service training, a smile wouldn't hurt, and the thing that got me the most was the sign outside advising people "please don't sit at a dirty table" -you can't sit before you sign in and order, so how on earth would a cafe have dirty tables ?????? staff need to pick up their game when it comes...
