Waited 45 minutes for our food. My husband and father in law meals finally came. Chicken teriyaki had no flavour with a rubber texture. Looked like it had been reheated from the night before. My brother in law and i Watched them eat their whole meal waiting for ours to arrive. 50 minutes goes by, we enquire where our meals are. Kitchen staff admitted they hadn’t even started on making it and admitted to just putting the chicken satays in the microwave. So if you want microwaved chicken satays…this is the place for you. This was completely on the kitchen staff who were just absolutely careless. We cancelled our order and left with no food, just our time wasted. I dined in last Saturday and was pleasantly suprised with the service from a red headed teenage girl. Now normally, I dont enjoy the company of teenagers, nor red heads, however this lovely girl changed my whole experience. She treated my every need and made me feel welcome and at home. She even compensated for the average tasting fried rice. Even though the food was mid, I would for sure come back for the service of this young lady and the family spirit I felt when I was here. And on top of all this that poor girl had to juggle all the orders and jobs and did it with a big smile on her face and never broke character. The presentation says this little cafe is a big restaurant. Seating 12 inside, 8 outside on street. Cushions on seat need serious cleaning. Dined inside 36 degrees out, air cond. very poor except when range hood turned on and front door opened from the pressure, only cool air really that came in. Kitchen/dining space open, heat and air born spices enter the dining room and make eyes smart. Food was very good. Prawn roles, fish cakes, duck and soup,coconut rice and 3 fish with vege sauce.
