Donut King Smithfield Centre R00-145 — Restaurant in Queensland

Not only is the manager just about as unpleasant as possible, but she also overcharges. I ordered a toasted sandwich ($7.00) and a tea ($4.60 with one teabag) and was charged $12.50! When i asked why the young girl said it was part of the package. But I ordered them separately i said. No matter - it’s part of the package. When i pointed out the discrepancy she advised that she would talk to the manager. So I didn’t get my money back, as expected. Lately I have been told off by the manager for questioning the sur charge, asking for 2 teabags in my teapot ( i should be charging you an extra dollar) and questioning the new 50 cent charge for honey instead of sugar. So tired of people putting profit ahead of service. Time to find another...

Went in to Donut King today and the Team had to remake the ordered item and managed to also mess that up (Thick shake), Arrogant remakes when I contacted them on the phone to advise about the mess up and they accused me of being impolite when I was really understanding.

I’m not usually one to leave reviews but this shocked me. I walked past the donut king in Smithfield as I finished my grocery shopping at Coles at around 6.15pm today. I saw the girl behind the counter was throwing away the left over donuts so I stopped and I asked if they were still available. She said yeah, they’re $8 each so I said oh ok, I’ll pass.
