The worst pre ordered cake I have ever purchased. We bought a cake for our daughter's birthday and ordered a week in advance, it was a simple decorated chocolate sponge cake and had absolutely no flavour and was like it was a week old, stale and hard and dry. Not exaggerating this is literally the worst cake store cake I have had, home brand stale sponge cake is better. Even if this was a one off, the fact this was allowed to be sold for full price is actually my concern because I understand that sometimes a overcook or something might occur, but this is just shocking as it's both terribly dry and stale at the same time and for it to pass the grade and allowed to be sold in its state is just very bad. From reading the other reviews it actually looks like they don't make some of the cakes themselves and outsource it as it doesn't match the excellent reviews of their other products. Not sure how they could be so utterly rubbish at making chocolate cake (like the other reviews on here in regards to chocolate cakes seem to agree with me) and then be good at making stuff like macaroons? Anyway, don't buy a cake from here you...

Passionfruit sponge not great Ordered mixed cup cakes, strawberry was the best Sausage rolls and bagels were enjoyed. Response to emails very blunt or ignored. Wrote the wrong message on bday cake, didn’t even reply to email. No sorry, no nothing. You might be in COVID but some kindness wouldn’t hurt.

Not surprised with your response. In case you don’t get my email I sent 16th Jan and resent 1st Feb. My order number was #4071 dated 4th Jan (online order), I spent over $350 on this order. I can see you are by no means humble in anyway to show you are sorry. Again “sorry”can go a long way and mean a lot. No I wasn’t lying about my order, no I was not venting about the taste. Yes the cake plaque did not match the order request. The Passionfruit cake was not nice. But your other food I ordered was well enjoyed. I’ll leave on “sorry”...

We were visiting Noosa for my sons 13th Birthday and I contacted Fiona’s Fancies for a birthday cake. As we had to do everything over the phone, they were so helpful informative. They make edible icing cakes but I had my own custom edible icing cake topper and wanted to use that and it was no problem. They suggested a mud cake rather than sponge as we were going to eat the cake the day after we picked it up and they suggested it would taste better, we were so glad they made that suggestion. The cake turned out absolutely amazing, it looked so good and tasted even better! It was so moist, not too sweet and was loved by all. Yum! Thank-you so much for being so accommodating....
