Bang Bang were clearly short staffed when we went for dinner last night-which to be fair seems to be a bit of a problem everywhere these days! It took a while for the two of us to be greeted but once we were seated and could finally order our cocktails they arrived quickly and were delicious. There was then another wait for our entrees, Spring Rolls and Roti but worth the wait, but unfortunately our wine hadn't arrived only to be told much later they were out of stock. I don't know about anyone else but I do like to have my wine while I'm eating my meal. Then for our main we ordered the Wagyu beef and stir fried greens to share but another wait ensued only to be presented with a chicken dish we didn't order along with our greens so the chicken was returned and our greens taken along with it. Another much longer wait ensued and the restaurant was almost empty by the time our beef finally arrived (also worth the wait) but no sight of our greens which they kindly took off our bill once they did arrive along with two complimentary glasses of wine-nice touch by management. Now amid all this chaos the small team of staff in our area who were clearly under a lot of pressure but were doing their absolute best, still managing to smile and be polite under the most difficult of circumstances. I particularly want to give a shout out to our waitress Lilo, who was exceptional! Lilo went above and beyond to make an unpleasant experience at Bang Bang a laughable one...and I mean this in the most positive way. Anything that could go wrong did, but still she remained professional at all times and from what I observed she did her absolute best for every other table she served-well done Lilo!
