Just bear with me reading the first part of my review, please. Tonight was our first visit, and my partner and I were a little hesitant to come here as many Chinese restaurants only serve westernised food that is by no means Chinese. After arrival, we were seated and given menus. They had all the standard westernised Chinese dishes. My partner asked for a Chinese menu and WOW! A Chinese restaurant that has real Chinese traditional food options. All three of our dishes were excellent. The price was good, the serving sizes were generous, and the flavours were very good. This is the first Chinese restaurant I have been to in QLD that serves real Chinese cuisine and would be on par with the better Chinese restaurants in Melbourne. My partner is Chinese, and she loved the food. That's not an easy thing to accomplish. I also loved the food and will be going back to visit every time we...

What a cracker of a restaurant, this place is fun without trying to be and also has excellent food. Good menu, traditional dishes but very ordinary wine list - having said that you don't die of thirst and the food is delicious...

Décor is weird and offers choices of seating styles, but there is something for everyone. Staff are everywhere and seem unorganized but it works fine, like organized chaos. Eric the owner/chef is often on the floor yelling at people in Chinese, but no one seems upset by it or cries!

Five of us spent three hours over dinner enjoying many dishes, drinks and being entertained :0) worth the...

We ordered the most delicious food from this restaurant last night that we decided to reorder again tonight. However this time I ordered online. We arrived to pickup our order and was advised on arrival that the order ready and waiting was not our order. After two more people who approached us we had someone check the orders, brought an order out only to find the order that had been sitting on the bench for the last 10+ minutes was indeed ours. Sadly we were most disappointed as the quality and taste was no way on par to last nights. Very...

Last night was an outstanding experience. The service was excellent from start to finish—staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The food was truly the highlight of the evening. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors that transported me straight to China. Everything we ordered was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. If you're looking for a genuine Chinese dining experience with exceptional service, I highly recommend this place. I can't wait to return!

This restaurant is perfect for a visit to Cairns in January. The air conditioning works so well that you can enjoy your meal without breaking a sweat. Every dish we tried was delicious, but we highly recommend the fried spicy chicken and the boiled spicy fish—they were fantastic. The Cantonese-style roasted duck had wonderfully crispy skin, but unfortunately, the meat didn’t taste as fresh, which was the only dish we didn’t enjoy. Overall, it's a great spot for a meal!
