Don't be put off by the , more than life size Elvis outside the bar . It's a great place to eat and socialise. We walked the length of the river banks looking at restaurants until nearly the end . Good job we kept going . We called in and spoke to Charlie , a female waitress , sorry may have spelt your name incorrectly. We booked a table as Tuesday night is specials night. All pasta dishes 16 dollars. The bar was not too busy and we sat at a tall table overlooking the pavement but still able to see the massive TV screen behind the chefs. I have to highly recommend The Rocco. The pasta dish with creamy sauce, sausage flavoured with Truffle oil. Absolutely delicious. I stumbled across Truffle oil crisps some weeks ago and now I am addicted to the taste. It was hot , creamy tasty and a good portion. Charlie served us again and she is very chatty and helpful. My wife had the burger which looked really nice with plenty of chips. Having eaten out for two weeks in Australia this was definitely the best tasting and best value for money so far. There was a lovely atmosphere too , not too noisy , not too many people, music playing softly in the background . If you are in the area look this restaurant up , it's well with it. Quick polite service, good food ...

If I could give them 6 stars I would!! Myself and a girlfriend decided to go for a few cocktails while we were kid free ( Dad's lost a bet! 🤣) and let me tell you, we were absolutely blown away! The service we received from Clint & Bridgette was exceptional, the cocktails were amazing and that view!! 😍 We loved it so much we made a booking for dinner that night, this time we brought the Dads and kids along too! The food! Oh. My. Gosh. THE FOOD! 😱 Incredible!! We had Calamari as a starter - possibly the best Calamari we've ever eaten!! It took us forever to decide what we wanted for mains as everything sounded SO GOOD!! And it was!! So much so that we made another booking for the next day!! 🤣 That's 3 times in 2 days!! We're locals and had not been to GT's. 🤷‍♂️ We'd of course been to the venue under 'other' names...but not "GT's'....and just a week ago friends suggested we were doing ourselves a disservice..so on Monday we went for lunch. We'll be back. We checked out the menu on a morning walk...warm friendly welcome and as much information as we needed on first pass.

Back for lunch...size isn't everything...quality, freshness and flavour is more important, as is friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere...when you get all of that, it makes for an excellent dining/eating out experience. The food is very fresh, well prepared and the service, atmosphere and outlook....pure Noosaville river. This venue has had many iterations over the years and today it's at its best.
