Used to love Going to Hungry Jacks, But this time in Hervey Bay I had an awful experience. I went at 00:20 to the restaurant’s drive through. On the speaker the staff had the music so loud that I couldn't understand what she was saying. When asked her to lower the music cause I couldn't hear her she gave me an attitude. Ignoring her way of doing customer service I kept going with my order, and parked on the first service window (where they are supposed to charge, after waiting for 10minutes someone opened the window and said “move to the next window”. Straight away I drove to the second window and I was laughing cause of I joke the radio host was saying, then I hear the Hungry Jacks lady say “You know I’ve been waving at you for a while, 2 minutes, I timed it.” I said “Sorry I didn't see toy, but you guys are not busy” she then said “You shouldn't be playing in your phone while you wait, it’s agains road regulations, I don't know why you drive a car if you don’t know Australian Law”
To which I answered her “there is no one in the drive through, and I was waiting in the other window which does not have a sign saying ‘move to the next’ and you are here to give customer service, and prepare food orders not to control what i do while my car is parked with the hand break on”
Then she said she will call the police to which i said I didn't mind cause phone usage is allowed while the car is parked and with hand break. She was also displaced by knowing Im italian and made racist allegations, and kept being rude while I was paying.
Hungry Jacks should not hire this kind of...
Read morePaid for my order through the app. Was a $3 Large Onion Ring Deal that I paid for before it expired and a cheeseburger happy meal… When I arrived at the store I went to click drive thru and the app said ‘too slow’, it cancelled my whole order. Management and staff said ‘there’s nothing we can do, we don’t control that’.
I don’t know if that’s true but you do control how you treat your customers. As a fast food employee I believe it’s common courtesy to fix up any mistakes caused by the app by giving me what I had ordered. If a homeless person or someone only enough money for the original order that is apparently refunded within 24hrs they would have to starve because Hervey Bay Hungry Jacks cares more about themselves then the customers.
Having to re order my meal before being refunded, not to mention not even getting the deal I originally paid for and on top of that having to wait even longer is totally wrong. There’s no way the app should cancel a customers order after they’ve already paid and arrived at the store. Once I paid the timer disappeared and it said to click drive thru when I arrive.. when I got there it was gone. If I knew the timer still counted after paying I would have never ordered. Management did not want to help...
Read moreMy family and I just went through the drive through and ordered our usual food. I am a full time career for my disabled wife, therefore I have a careers card. The careers card allows me the same discounts as a senior's card. My family and I are extremely grateful for any discounts or help in any way that this card allows. I have been able to use the card for well over 12 months at the same store for a small discount. So when I reached the window to pay for my food, I presented my careers card. I was then told that the only thing I could receive was a small coffee. I was a bit confused as I had received a discount the day before. She then immediately went to manager and brought him to the window. I started to talk to him in a calm manner, when he interrupted me and spoke to my family and I horribly. He then called my family and I liers when I said I had received the discount before. We all were spoken to in a absolutely horrible way. He spoke over the top of me, and walked away in the middle of me speaking. You would not want a stranger to talk to you like this let alone a manager around fellow staff and customers. We were appalled by his attitude and we will be reporting this to head office on Monday. This should...
