Hungry Tum — Restaurant in Queensland

After being forced to wait whilst a staff member casually wandered around outside, I complained politely to her when she finally decided to serve me as I was the only customer, which sent her on a tirade where she tried to refuse to serve me at all, and then when I enquired about the price of milk, this sent her off on another tirade, 3 times she put my products back saying she wasnt going to serve me at all, and when I suggested that I would complain to the owner / manager, I was met with even more abuse, being told that they wouldnt care, I was also called old, a grandfather, and out of touch. I would like very much to speak with the proprietor but this episode left me so frustrated that I feel I have already spent too much time on it. For the owners note this incident was on 2/07/2017 9.21pm should they wish to consult their video records and check, they will see her behaviour and the number of times she put my products back. After being forced to go and get both bottles of milk to check the price, she then deliberately charged me for both and then proceeded to try not to allow me to return the second bottle of milk that had not even left the counter. After being in hospitality and cafes for many years, I have never been met with this disgusting, time wasting, offensive service ever. Having spent 5 hours at ER today we're were starving so decided to try this place late in the afternoon on a Sunday and public holiday .everything else was shut. Glad we did. Ordered works burger ,chips and Barra and chips . Service was friendly with the 2 ladies,fast, fresh and well worth the reasonable cost.drinks were so cold and lots of choice. Burger was so good .partner so enjoyed it with lots of bacon and didn't have to pay extra for it. My fish was crispy battered golden and so fishy tasting. Chips were golden crisp and fluffy inside. My husband has been in Bundaberg 10 years ago (before even meeting me) and has been talking about hungry tum for many years along with his experience in Bundy. When we decided to go back to Australia for a road trip, we chose to visit the city and in particular this take away shop. I mean, WOW! The chips with sour cream are just special! Now I understand why he has been talking about this shop for these many years! I got a chicken sandwich which was one of the best things I’ve eaten in Australia since I landed few weeks ago.
