Irish Molly's — Restaurant in Queensland

So... this wasn't the worst meal we've had since leaving Newcastle eleven days ago, hence the two stars, but it was well short of delicious. Our garlic bread was still frozen on one end, my wife's Arancini was fried till crunchy (like a potato chip!) all the vegies with my pot-pie were overcooked (the pot-pie itself was nice, the meat was tender and flavoursome). Our companions grilled fish was the star of the evening for us. Unfortunately the bar was staffed by only one lovely young lady who was doing her best serving drinks, taking phone orders and orders for the dining room as well, she wasn't offered any help by (I'm guessing) the owner who helped himself to drinks and left paying customers waiting 7-8 minutes to get a drink. The dining experience was terrible at the local put Irish Molly's. I would definitely recommend skipping this establishment unless you want the staff to ruin your day. The side dish came out 30 minutes before the main course it was ordered with. When I asked for a fresh dish, an obnoxious manager informed me they would not provide hot food because his staff had entered the order incorrectly. They then told us we were wrong - that a rare steak had been served when we had specifically requested it be well done. The manager became rude and verbally abusive. Avoid this pub at all costs. Heritage pub. Pub grub is the right word here. Meals were mediocre. I had dry lamb chops with salad, the salad had some kind of dead overcooked pasta lumps on top. You could find a Women’s weekly Irish cookbook (if there is one) and follow a basic recipe to make something better than that. Maybe it’s an Irish thing. Went to get some kind of sauce to put on the chops. While waiting outside the kitchen, a child walked out of the kitchen and put their bare arm into the ice inside the ice machine that was used for all the drinks for the pub. I mentioned it simply to a staff member walking by, and then the manager came up to me and was aggressive and rude, as though somehow I was being nasty to...
