On the 5/1/25 i went through the drive through and placed a order for a small chips and 4 pieces of chicken. After i left the drive through I headed home and pulled over at a rest area some 40km west of Emerald to have some of the chips and chicken that i had bought and on opening my order i discovered that there was only 2 pieces of chicken and not 4 pieces as i had ordered. I continued to drive home and the next day i contacted KFC to make a complaint about the missing pieces of chicken and spoke to Frances and informed him as to what happened. I had to supply him with the time that i went through the checkout and the amount that i had paid. He found out the information that i supplied was correct and told me that they would give me a voucher for the order that i had wanted and he would send it to my email address which i supplied him with. When I had not received the voucher some 4 weeks later i sent him a message that i had not received it and now it is almost 3 months later and have not received a reply or voucher that i was supposed to receive. Apparently there staff that they employ can’t count so i would advise people who go through the drive through i open up there order to make sure that there order is correct before they leave. To save yourself this trouble then i would suggest that it would be better to go to Red Rooster as i will be doing that whatever I pass through Emerald. Read moreIt's not often I leave negative reviews, but this is one certainly earned. Arrived in town just before 9pm after long day driving. Placed my order via app and tapped "I'm here" as I'm arriving at the location. Firstly I see a note stuck on the drive through window saying "drive through closed". As annoying and weird as that is, I park and go inside. I waited, and this is not a lie, 15 entire minutes before the two women at the front preparing orders even looked at me. And only because I said "Hello... Can I ask a question please". Mentioning my order paid at least 20 minutes prior. The English level was not there for her to communicate a coherent response back in a way that made sense, but something like "we've already done the chicken counts tonight". The manager then comes out and says I should have mentioned my online order was made. Like it was my fault his staff are so incompetent at basic service as to ignore somebody standing right in front of them for a quarter of an hour without ever acknowledging them even once. Says he will "do it for me" with a wink of the eye, like serving my order from 8.50PM at 9.25PM is a huge favour to be grateful for or something. Of course the items had to be supplemented at this point and didn't get what I paid for. And the food was the grossest sloppiest mess I have ever seen. I threw it all away. Read moreOMG what are you serving people!!!! Because what we got served tonight was the worst KFC I've ever eaten. Now to be honest I never expect fast food to be perfect but I don't expect to get burnt food either. You need to teach your staff that if they burn the gravy it's not ok to strain out the burnt bits and sell it. Your customers are not stupid they know burnt food when they taste it. The so called chicken tenders were so tough you literally couldn't bite them, so along with the potatoe and gravy they went in the bin. The original chicken pieces must have come from a pigeon cause I've never seen a chicken with such small legs. They were also overcooked and tough and the nuggets were soggy and chips were cold. So will we eat at KFC Emerald again? I think not and will definitely not recommend anyone else to either. Would have given NO stars if I could. Total waste of my money. At least the staff member on the drivethu was pleasant. To the management of KFC Emerald, teach your staff working there how to cook correctly as they are the ones on the front line of your business and the ones that have to deal with disgruntled customers who have paid good money for...
