Went for dining, all the meals came in small size bowls. Technically all Indian restaurants should serve curries/ food with rice, however, we have to order separately in this and some other restaurants in this town and in Australia as well, very stingy and mainly does not reflect Indian culture. Ordered paneer butter masala which had way too many onions and was sweet, and prawn vindaloo which was very red in color with artifical colors and flavors and clearly understandable that they made it only with sauce and is definitely not what authentic Indian food is about, did not taste like curry at all, let alone calling it an Indian curry. The waiter who served was in the kitchen most of the time and was not there when their attention is needed. What a disgrace and shame, well this is the first and last visit to this place. Being experienced with some of the most authentic Indian food palate, will definitely not recommend this place, absolutely not worthy for the money and no satisfaction, definitely not even call it a...
Read moreUsed the restaurants online webpage ordering for pickup. Got there and was charged the takeout amount but asked for a receipt. When she came back she told me she undercharged me and proceeded to charge me more. When I questioned why she was charging me more it’s because the online price for takeaway was $7 more per dish. And a large coconut rice $4 more than the instore price. 😡 Not ubet eats or a delivery service, this is their actual own website and all she could say was it’s just different for online price despite if I called or walked in I would have been charged the cheaper amount as per the takeaway menu in store. I asked to speak to the manager and was told they weren’t there. I checked my order when she handed it to me to find that I was also short the very expensive rice I had paid for and when I asked for it she told me it was all there in which I had to prove it was not. Completely ruined it for me and I will not go back just on principal. Absolute rip off and a poor...
Read moreTerrible food. Just terrible..... Nice restaurant with friendly staff but the food is a major let down. Had the mixed platter for entree of samosa, onion bajis, chicken tika and sheesh kebab. All of them were badly over cooked and to make things worse they were then served on a sizzling hotplate. This gimmic is a bit old and definitely doesn't suit Indian food.
For the main I ordered beef vindaloo, plain rice, onion salad and a garlic and cheese naan. The garlic and cheese naan was delicious!!! and the onion salad wasn't bad but they served me a Madras instead of a Vindaloo and when I asked about it they said that's how a real vindaloo is cooked. (I never told them I had spent a long time in India and know the difference).
So in short...... if you are looking for good Indian food...
