⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely the Worst McDonald’s Experience of My Life hands down. Honestly thought someone was having a medical emergency.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was hands-down the worst fast food experience I’ve ever had—and I’m shocked it carries the McDonald’s name. This should be reviewed !!!! Embarrassing !!!

From the moment I entered the drive-thru, things went downhill fast. And by “fast,” I mean the opposite of fast—I sat in line for over 35 minutes behind just one car. No explanation, no apology, just pure indifference from the staff inside. I watched paint dry on my side mirror faster than this line moved. No explanation as to why even after being asked just received with a zero care factor and zero care for the customer.

When I finally made it to the window, I was greeted with the kind of attitude you’d expect if you’d personally insulted the staff’s family. Zero eye contact, not a single “hello” or “thank you,” and a tone that made it very clear they couldn’t care less if I got my food or drove straight into the sunset not to mention the zero care factor.

But I stayed. Big mistake. My food was ice cold, fries soggy like they’d been sitting for hours, and the burger looked like someone made it during an earthquake.

This location needs a serious wake-up call. Poor customer service, no care for quality, and an entire team that clearly doesn’t want to be there. It’s like the entire staff collectively gave up—and the customers are paying for it.

Avoid this McDonald’s like the plague. You’d have a better experience eating a microwave meal...

Every time I've been there order has either been incorrect or stone cold even after asking for freshly cooked items specifically. The service is terrible and have seen the staff eating/drinking in the kitchen then handling peoples food with out gloves afterwards. The last time I ordered from there I tried to let a staff member know about the previous issues politely and they were more or less shrugged off and I was handed an over filled item which has spilt in my car and has now got to be steam cleaned. The staff member who came to give me the remainder of my order thought this was hilarious to the point of laughing in my face. Luckily the manager on didn't think it was so funny.

Generally you would be inclined to give fast food restraunts some slack but this place absolutely takes the mick and it's a shame as there are some staff members that are great.

Omg McDonald's Charters Towers is the worst I have ever been in the staff 😫 don't listen 😑 to what is said or just don't care. I ordered a bacon 🥓 n egg 🥚 mcmuffin extra bacon 🥓 no cheese. My order ended up being bacon, meat pattie,no egg some god awful sauce and on a bun with fries 🍟 that were cold and not ordered anyway. I was back on the road when I noticed the problem, this time I decided to take it back no sorry nothing despite the receipt reflecting my order I ended up with a muffin 2 bits bacon a meat pattie and rubber egg no bbq sauce not even any of the god awful sauce that was on the original and of course the same cold fries if I hadn't had to get back to Townsville I would of taken this back too.
