Unpleasant experience yesterday 17/8 around 9:30am, ordered through drive thru double sausage muffin with a bacon, lady in register said “double sausage and egg?” i said “no just sausage thank you” and when came to grab my food there was only one patty when i asked for a double, i understand there might be a miscommunication there and told Sarah (might be a manager as she had the golden badge but wearing host uniform rather than grey shirt) at the window that i had asked for a double sausage with a bacon added, she went at the back and came back saying on the order it only said regular sausage muffin, i said oh okay i asked for a double and am more than happy to pay for the extra patty. there was a blonde curly haired person with a black shirt who said “so she didn’t even order a double?” with a rude attitude and arms making question gesture 🤷🏼♂️ and walked away, Sarah took my muffin and said okay we will add it for you. Came back and said “no worries we added an extra PATTY for you” i said thank you so much, took my wrapped muffin and drove off, only to realise midway through my drive that they had added an extra bacon rather than the patty, now i don’t know if it was done on purpose but i did not enjoy the treatment i got. I understand things can be frustrating (i worked at sydney central station mcdonalds for over 2 years as a CREW TRAINER, trust me when i say i know how it is), however i wasnt rude at any time, didnt say it was their fault, just asked for the patty i wanted and said im happy...
Read moreOne of the worst MacDonalds I have ever been too. I normally have a pretty positive attitude but after they got my order wrong for the third time in a row. I felt I had to leave a review. The first time they forgot my coffee. No big deal mistakes do happen. However, the coffee they made tasted somewhat similar to what I imagine their mop water does. The second time they got my kids happy meals wrong. I probably wouldn't have worried if it was my order but when you work late, grab the kids from after school care and then get home just to realise they got your order wrong is annoying to say the least. Most parents I am sure will understand. The third order was just after new year. (today as I write this) I had family members over I had not seen for a while so I ordered MacDonalds so I didn't have to cook. Some happy meals and one of the shared meals. Once I got home I found that they had forgotten to put in two cheeseburgers. Now the annoying part of this is: Being ripped off however little really rubs me the wrong way. I tried calling but the number listed is no longer active(get your act together Macca's!) Driving back when you have out of town visitors whose kids didn't get their cheeseburgers is not what I had planned for today.
As they say third time is the charm. Or in other words 'fool me once shame on you, fool me three times shame on me'. It will be a dark day if I ever...
Read moreOrdered two meals and made my way through drive thru collected my food and went home only to find out they hadn't put chips in my bag.. drove back to get my chips and asked for new burgers as the previous ones were cold by this time which seemed like to much to ask for the staff.. waited about 5-10 minutes for my new food to come out just to get stale chips and cold burgers.. worst McDonald's experience to date..!!!! UPDATE... After three years and several more bad experiences I have topped my previous bad experience, went to get a meal for the family for dinner got a favourites box only to not receive all of my burgers I drove back to collect them and was greeted reasonably well to begin with until I requested my money back... Then the assistant manager decided to flex his managerial muscles I guess he flat out refused my.rwfubd and told me if I wanted my money back for my now cold food that would have to return the food also which I had left at my house, I stated he could come and pick the food up himself to.which he laughed in my face and tried to make me feel stupid for even thinking that was something I could expect... I was tossing up whether to knock him out or throw the food in his face.. fortunately saner minds prevailed... After this I will never go back to a McDonald's in Toowoomba again worst fast food franchise...
