Subway Eastville — Restaurant in Queensland

Wouldn’t recommend going here. Old woman working ruined my experience. I ended up leaving with no food. I went in with my partner and wanted to order a vegan sub and unfortunately asked which breads were vegan and the old lady immediately told me none of them were. (The subway Australian website said the white bread and a few others are) naturally assumed she didn’t know what vegan was and just ordered the white bread after looking up that it was, and the old lady interrupted and said it’s not. I said that’s fine and she continued to aggressively state that there’s milk in them so I asked her if she made the bread herself and she lied and said yes which I later found out was a lie. She was so aggressive and confrontational the whole time that I ended up leaving and going to another subway where they offered me a dietary list (photo below) and they also stated they definitely DO NOT make their own bread. No idea why she was lying and being so rude but as a non confrontational person I found this really upsetting. The young girl working was really nice and accomodating and tried to help but the older cranky woman...

During my visit, I encountered several issues with staff support that affected my overall experience. Despite waiting for assistance, the staff seemed disengaged, and I felt there was a lack of attention to customer needs. This made the visit uncomfortable, as there was a noticeable delay in receiving help, and I did not feel valued as a customer. As a loyal Subway customer, I have always appreciated the quality of service at your stores, which is why I was especially disappointed by this incident. I kindly request that you review the situation at this particular location and take appropriate action to ensure better staff training and customer service...

Went to Subway Eastville in Towoomba, Queensland earlier today at 1.30pm and the elderly lady in her 60s who claimed to be the assistant manager of store was very cold and rude. I simply asked for quesadilla without chipotle sauce for kids as kids don’t like the sauce as it is little spicy and replace with mayo sauce instead. She was super rude and said she can’t change the sauce. The owner doesn’t approve the change of ingredients as it is a Mexican dish!!! Like seriously, she told me to never come back next time to the store. What do ya all think? racist or poor customer service! You be the judge…bottomline.. never ever go...
