We attended Pump Express at 8am this morning. Placed our order as soon as we walked in : $60 for 3 light meals (incl a drink each). 2 meals were pre prepared options from in the cabinet (a croissant and a frittata) and a breaky wrap. I paid for all 3 to avoid drama with splitting the bill. Drinks were quick and perfect. Unfortunately the experience deteriorated after that…. The fresh wrap came out at 8.40, but another 10 min before the frittata and then when I asked about the croissant, our waitress stated ‘you didn’t order one’ instead of suggesting she would check our order. I had to dispute with her that I did not pay $60 for just 3 light meals. Another 10 minutes past before the croissant arrived. Was really disappointed by this experience….from the slow service and meal delivered in dribs and drabs to the attitude of the staff. The cafe has lost its vibe and I felt like I could have been at maccas for the same experience and reheated food. We will not be back...
Read moreI visit the Pump drive through at least once a week, it can be slow at times but generally happy with service. Today I arrived at 11am and there was a short line up, two cars arrived behind me, only to find that the ordering speaker wasn’t working and we had to order at the first window. This should have been signed before driving into the drive through. I waited in line for 20 minutes just to order two coffees, then waited another 10 minutes to receive them. The car in front of me had ordered food, which takes longer but should have been told to park. My coffees were cold by the time I finally reached the collection window. Had I have known that they were experiencing problems with the drive through service, I would have parked and gone inside. Although I received a voucher for a medium coffee on my next visit (huh!), I’m disappointed in the lack of...
Read moreTake Xpress off your name. Since this store changed hands quality customer service has disappeared. The drive through has slowed to a crawl. When I went through today, the guy with the ponytail was barely audible over the speaker- as usual. When I finally got to the window, I sat there for five minutes and watched him scrape plates before he finally came to take my money. A little tip- worry about the customer 1st. The plates will always be there- can’t say the same about the customer. This guy has the personality of a block of wood. It feels like he feels it is below him to be doing this job.. Lucky the coffee is so good, otherwise I would have taken my business elsewhere a...
