Super Rooster — Restaurant in Queensland

The manager was extremely rude at the wilsonton store.

My experience goes back a bit so maybe things have changed since. Anyway, after driving for 3 hours (with another 2 to go) my wife and I were extremely weary, hungry and just wanted food. Decided to stop in for the first time at super rooster after having seen their ads on TV. Arrived at 7:55pm said to the girl serving if it is OK to dine in knowing they closed soon as we didn't want to eat our succulent chicken meal in the car as we like to enjoy a meal at a table. She said it was all good. About 2 minutes into eating, the manager came out and told us to leave or else he'd turn the lights out in 5 minutes. Sure enough the rude manager turned the lights out after the 5 minute warning leaving us eating the rest of our meal in the dark.

We made sure to leave the place with our discarded chicken bones on the ground and wiped our greasy chicken fingers over the windows. If you're going to treat weary travellers with disrespect then expect it back. Just as well I didn't trip in the dark or I could have sued the pants off the manager.

Did I love the taste of super rooster? Yes but won't be going back after the terrible...

Amazing food and well worked staff in a fast passed environment as a group. Every time I have been their is has been quick correct food and great service, unfortunately last time was different as it was busy and they were serving one food then taking another order, which was ok untill their was a older gentleman that needed assistance and was stuck at the register waiting to be served. We prompted the young girl if she would be able to ask the manager to serve the gentleman so he would be able to sit and wait for him meal, which the manager agreed apon and the man was helped in doing so. I'm hoping this young lady has learnt something from this yes it's busy and she was following the protacol but when someone older needs assistance eg walking stick, they have a bit better forward thinking then will assist the customer too, eg ask the manager not after being promoted from other customers to help the gentleman. Bought a family meal, drove home to Cambooya, noticed there was a large dead grub in the tub of peas, jumped in the car and drove back into Toowoomba to return it and get one without a grub in it, by the time I made it back into town, they were just shutting their doors, so I waved to the guy inside and he came over asked what I wanted, I explained the situation with the grub in the peas, he opened the door and asked to see the tub of peas to show the manager, he took the tub of peas and closed the door again and walked inside, I was waiting at the door for about 5 minutes, at this point I realised he was not going to come back and then started telling me to duck off, I don’t believe I have ever been treated as bad as this EVER, very rude, I’m very disappointed, I will never come back and I will proceed to tell anyone for the rest of my life about my experience at this business.
