Red Shed Seafood — Restaurant in Queensland

First time visit to Bundaberg, stopped at the information Centre, got recommended by a lovely lady there to stop and get some seafood which we did. We had 2 crabs, half a kilo prawn, a dozen of oyster. The lady served us happily cleaned the crabs as we were going to have a picnic. Turned up they were the nicest and freshest seafood we ever had!! Fantastic takeaway seafood. We drove in for a short stay at Bargara and Red Shed was our first stop for lunch. We thought there was a place to sit and eat (even by the park) but none was available. But since our rental apartment was only 15 minutes away, it was a problem easily solved.

And the food was so fresh. We had the bugs, prawns, oysters and scallops. The last 2 we had them raw.....

The Red Shed in Bundaberg has the friendliest staff. I’ve lived all around Australia and the seafood from this business has far surpassed any other retailer I’ve found in my travels. If you want something specific, you will get an honest response and season permitting you will get what you need in a more than acceptable time frame. Cheers...
