The Everest spice & curryhouse — Restaurant in Queensland

Love this place! Would regularly come by for lunch when I worked around the corner, now I often buy dinner for our family from here and it is always always wonderful. Eating in is a lovely experience and the staff are so kind and friendly, the food amazing! Everything is prompt and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. Now we often have delivery as we have two little babies and it’s too cold to go out for dinner and the food always arrives hot and tasty! We will often have an extra rice or naan included which is lovely. This is a 10/10 experience everyone and I recommend to everyone. We have had a large variety of the menu (not everything yet! But we will make our way through the menu) and have loved...

"Consistenly nice food... butter chicken 10/10"

That was my previous review... but guys you really need to maintain your standard... today was the second time you missed our order... Pls check the order before handing it to customer...there was one dish missing (butter chicken to be specific) when I went for pick up... should have checked the order...but I trusted the staff... my mistake..... after phone call you agreed to deliver the food...which was delivered after 1 hour... there was literally 4 small pieces of chicken dipped in gravy for a large butter chicken .... I understand today is your busy day but try and maintain your consistency......

The Everest Spice menu (which was left in our mailbox) says their dinner trading hours are from 4.30pm to 8.30pm Monday to Friday. We pulled up outside the restaurant in Alderley Street at 4.45pm today (Thursday) and saw a 'closed' sign hanging on the door, despite another sign saying (again) that their dinner trading hours are between 4.30pm and 8.30pm. There were no lights on and no-one answered the phone when I rang their number. We then noticed yet another sign sitting on the ground outside the closed door which said they didn't open for dinner until 5pm. We then left and got food elsewhere.
