Impressions of Scott — Restaurant in Queensland

I’ve had a less than positive experience with impressions on Scott recently. I was standing at the counter and someone come up and asked what I wanted, I said what I wanted save they just decided to say oh I’ll get someone else. I ordered something out of the cabinet and a coffee… nothing unusual Anna there was no communication difficulty or anything. I thought that seemed odd, then another lady came and asked in a quick voice, what’s I wanted and I said what I wanted, a croissant and an Americano. She hesitated and grabbed a clear drunk cup which I thought was strange. Some time went past and my order come up. Except I got a black iced coffee ( which I didn’t think an Americano was) but not wanting to be rude I just took it and left. I could be totally mistaken and what I got was what I ordered, but I didn’t feel comfortable to enquire. I enjoyed it none the less but the whole experience just left me feeling perplexed. Good coffee. They didn't have macca milk and had soy milk instead. Lovely Cafe, staff were polite, quite busy, about a 10 minute wait. Easy parking and access. Option to sit in or out with the pooches. As a former hospital staffer of 23 years, I am pleased they priorities hospital personnel. Hospital work is one of the most challenging professions. We hired Anita from Impressions on Scott to do our wedding cake & it was amazing! Our cake looked beautiful, and tasted even better!! We chose a 3 layered cake - the signature lime/coconut cake with raspberry/lemon filling, chocolate mud with Nutella filling and a Jaffa inspired layer! We had to postpone our wedding from June 2020 to December 2020; Anita was lovely to work with and the process of postponing was straightforward and stress free.
