Jamaica Blue Toowoomba Grand Central Near Target — Restaurant in Queensland

Have dined at Jamaica Blue previously, today however different story.. rude cashier (Jacob) who wanted to charge $13 for 2 poached eggs whereas 2 days ago they were $2.50 each ordering from add on's menu. The cashier was more interested in charging the $13 than listening to the order as 2 meals came out on one plate!!! Which I was unable to eat as I am coeliac and the add on's had been in contact with the sourdough on my husbands meal.. husband went back to let them know and they wanted his meal back to scrape my meal off the plate (bacon, mushroom and avo, didn't get eggs as $$) as he hadn't paid for them... did these go in the bin or on someone else's meal??? Mix ups happen, however the attitude of cashier being arrogant and not listening upon placing the order and when it was brought out wrong was plain rude... will...

Was very disappointed with the quality of food and drinks my husband and I received yesterday. We shared the chicken club sandwich with chips. The sandwich was dry and tasteless and I left my half on the plate. The chips were tasty and hot. Being a hot day we decided to order iced coffees. They were warm 😞 I went and asked for some ice and the girl was lovely. Waited a very long time to receive our food which was left sitting on the warmer whilst everyone else received their food. I eventually went and got it myself. Not a pleasant experience at all and...

11/10/23 Tables dirty. Then cleared and clean by staff member when asked by customer to do the job. Eleven minutes to wait to order the food. Too long. Staff need more customer service training. Hardly smile when delivering the food to the tables etc.I am a long term customer of Jamaica Blue Grand Central since 1999. Would like to see an improvement in the Staff work ethic. Then will return to the cafe once these improvements...
