My experience at this establishment was unfortunately marred by unprofessional and discriminatory/homophobic behavior from the owner, J. Upon entering with a group of seven, including my brother's girlfriend, we approached the bar to order drinks. This was our first stop of the night, recommended by my brother who had enjoyed it years ago. While ordering, my cousin and I, both in our early twenties, were asked for identification, which we promptly provided. Mr. King, after scrutinizing my government-issued driver's license, requested a second form of ID, citing concerns about counterfeit documents. I complied, though questioned the necessity, given the legitimacy of my primary ID. This escalated to Mr. King probing into personal details, including where we were staying, which seemed intrusive and unwarranted. Concerned by this line of questioning, and recalling unsettling reviews from others who had encountered similar inquiries including getting spiked, I opted to avoid further interaction with Mr. King. Instead, I approached another bartender to place my order. When Mr. King over heard this he stormed around the bar in a very aggressive manner swearing his head off at me telling me to "something off" and giving the impression he intended harm. Than his "undercover" security shoving me so hard I nearly fell over. While I urged my family to leave. Outside, Mr. King and his girlfriend approached my brother, instructing him to remove his "animal" girlfriend and "homophobic slur" brother from the bar, using derogatory language. Shortly after, J and his girlfriend involved patrons to intimidate my brother, attempting to provoke a physical altercation. In summary, my visit to this bar was marred by discriminatory treatment and unprofessional conduct from the owner, J. Such behavior not only fosters a hostile environment but also raises serious concerns about customer safety and respect for personal boundaries. I strongly advise against patronizing this...
Read moreI had the most amazing time last night at village bicycle except for these people that were rude and obnoxious. I can see they have comments 3 reviews. Named : goldie203, Anna Goldsboro, Renee g.
None of this were true as I was sober for the night. The family were abusive towards other patrons and the owners/ other workers. There was a situation with a fake ID to which the owner was doing his job was very respectful asking them to leave. I never heard any derogatory remarks from the owner towards the customers but in fact the customers were embarrassed that they got court out serving their underage children who were and intoxicated before entering the premises. It makes me sickened to see the way those entitled people treat hospitality workers and I was utterly disgusted last night with these persons actions.
I have come to this establishment many times as I am a Noosa local. I have been offered nothing but respect, compassion and great service. Threw out all of those occasions. While there are many places in Noosa to go this is the only place I feel safest and as it’s a family run business they make you feel apart of something like your not just another customer. The owners always make me my friends and family feel welcome and as do their amazing staff.
Thank you so much Renee and jacko for all the things you do you guys go above and beyond for all your customers. It’s such a shame that some of us ruin it for the rest of us and put up fake reviews because of their egos.
I can wait to come back this Sunday with the burger street food coming...

The Village Bicycle was an absolute nightmare. The manager appalling behavior ruined what should have been a pleasant evening.
I had the misfortune of encountering the most disgraceful treatment when I dared to ask for a simple fix to my drink. The margarita lacked proper seasoning, and when I requested salt and lime (I asked once, the waitress never came, I asked twice and the manager came -never got my salt and my lemon.) it turned into a 15-minute ordeal of neglect and incompetence.
Not only was the drink unsatisfactory, but the manager's response was outright hostile and rude. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, he unleashed a tirade, shouting at me in front of other customers. He clearly lacks the basic understanding of customer service and decency. His confrontational behavior was embarrassing, disrespectful, and utterly uncalled for. It's beyond belief how someone in charge can behave in such an unprofessional manner.
Despite expressing our disappointment calmly, we were met with threats of police involvement and forced to leave, even though we hadn't finished our food or drinks. It's shocking to witness such aggressive behavior over a customer's simple request for better service.
This experience was a disgrace to hospitality. I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment.
