A perfectly good, honest Chinese takeaway made by perfectly good honest local people. There's certainly nothing fancy about the place and I've never eaten in. It's obviously a small family business with Mum doing front of house and I assume Dad is cooking out the back. To be honest, dining in would seem like a bit of an imposition. The takeaway food quality however is right up there with the best Chinese I have had. It's always fresh and tasty comprised of good quality ingredients an it's completely consistent every time. Love the little touches like snipping the corner off the lid of the takeaway containers of their fried foods and serving the sauce separately so that it maintains it's crispness. Superb dishes using fresh ingredients, low levels of oil and salt compared with most other Chinese Restaurants. In-Dining is service filled with personalized heating in winter to add comfort whilst feasting. Takeaway is on time and matching great quality in-dining food every time. Whoever has had a most improbable negative experience should give the young family who own and operate this fine establishment another go. If you want silver service go somewhere else. We love the food here since it is Mandarin style with light tasty sauces, not the typical Cantonese style with thick gluggy sauces like many other Aussie-Chinese restaurants cook. We eat takeaway from here often when we're back visiting Aldgate. Ate from there last night and couldnt fault the food. Delicious fresh vegetables in the dishes.
