Aldgate Chicken Shop is nothing short of a culinary gem! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would happily give this place 10! The food is absolutely outstanding—crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection every single time. The chicken is always fresh, tender, and seasoned just right. Whether you’re grabbing a quick snack or a full meal, you’re guaranteed to be satisfied.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. They always go the extra mile to ensure you’re happy with your order, and the service is quick and efficient.

The portions are generous, and the prices are more than reasonable for the quality of food you’re getting. They offer a variety of delicious sides, including crispy fries, mouthwatering wings, and tasty salads that pair perfectly with the main dishes.

Well it seems the lovely new owners have somehow annoyed a few local kids lately given the one star reviews, completely unjustified in my opinion. I've been there quite a few times since they took over and I reckon they are excellent. Prices are fine, place is clean, salads are fresh and interesting, service is quick and friendly but best of all is the quality of the food they are putting out. For a takeaway it is of exceptional quality and now the best in the Hills as far as I've experienced. I can't go past their schnitzel burger, it is the best I've had anywhere. I love their crunchy chips and I like that they clearly think about what they are doing and perforate the paper to keep them at their best until you get whatever is left home. Keep up the good work guys, you're a much needed local addition. The previous owners had run the place in to the ground and you are a very welcome change! It's nice to not have to go to Stirling for a quick and easy...

Super friendly and super yum! Best chicken schnitzel burger. My photo doesn't do it justice, but I didn't take any more photos cos I just wanted to eat it it looked so good!

Thick, crispy, juicy chicken schnitzel pieces cooked perfectly, and perfectly built burger in a very yummy toasted bun. Lots of options to add to the burgers aswell. I got beetroot and bacon added and even with the beetroot, the burger was still fresh, not soggy at all. So good!

Chips were cooked just how I like them and had special chicken salt (great flavour 👌).

Topped it off with a couple of their homemade chocolate mousse with Oreos on top and they were also delicious and generous sizes. My partner downed his mousse straight away and I've savoured some for day 2 ;) we'll definitely be back....
