Dealing with staff in the lead up to our wedding was always a breeze, but where Stangate completely exceeded our expectations was when we had to change our reception plans at the last minute. Covid forced us to drastically reduce our numbers and our original venue was not an option with smaller numbers. We spoke to Courtney about the possibility of having our reception in a marquee in the garden and honestly, Courtney deserves a medal! She was always quick to respond to our queries (crucial when planning a whole new reception 3 weeks out), provided amazing recommendations for vendors who have worked at Stangate previously, and even helped us to coordinate our new plans with several of those vendors.
